FIVE Posted February 12, 2010 Share Posted February 12, 2010 So, you've probably noticed that the site has changed... and hopefully you're very excited about it. Even though I don't "officially" take over as the MEPD CO until after the elections, consider this is my first contribution to the MEPD. I'm anxious to hear what everyone thinks and am hoping that the design makes you feel (even more) proud to be a TD! I've actually been working on this redesign for a while... long before I was nominated. Everything from the bookmark icon to the background to many of the navigation buttons have been changed out. I've tested it a lot, but since there is a difference between testing something and using something please let us know if you find any major glitches or flaws. I really hope you all enjoy the new look... and that it gets you excited for 2010 here in the sand pit! Now... let's go get those droids! Just beautiful, and you catch the right sandtrooper feeling all over Love that you used the old saga pic, and not the special edition computer flying around droid thing pic. Plus the extra old weathering look in the pic logo, freaking cool too. The the logos/text to the left and right rocks! too The big draw picture, left and right of the forum are beautiful It give the right spirit of who we are, sandtroopers controling the area etc... And i´m sure, it might inspire a lot people on the forum. A BIG!!! Noel is quite the whiz at graphic and designing. btw just curious guys, are all of you using widescreen? I'm using 1680x1050 resolution and I can see Mos Eisley as the forum background. And i think the Deployed troopers page need to be redesigned. I'm using firefox 3.6. Every time I click on a trooper's thumbnail, Firefox will automatically minimise itself to a smaller window.
