you are really lucky guy! i'm envy you.

an historical vintage radio, a great piece for a collection!!

i will really curious to see all the side of it, maybe you can post many pictures, to show this baby in many angles.

i think it will be really interested.

So . . . is it just me, or does it appear that there are metal inserts, or panels, on either side of the bottom half of the radio. What do you guys think? Is it possible that those are decals with a foil backing? It looks like the Sonix logo is worn off and the underside seems awfully bright as well.

I agree, it looks like metal. That is just so inconsistent with the cheap standard to which all of these Hong Kong generic radios were built that it is confusing. I can't see any other areas that look like they may be metal. Interesting detail though. To echo everyone else's sentiment. . . I am jealous. (What a funny hobby we have.)

No kidding. Most people want money, fancy cars, luxury homes, etc..

We want old radios that are no longer made, vintage Tupperware lids, and long extinct British toilet syphons... :)
