Vadersf15t
i got this pack from the person i purchased my armor from and was wondering if you guys really think its worth keeping or just moving and making a new one? I really dont like the paint job at all but what about the compnet parts? do you feel that these are acceptable? heres some pics: http://www.flickr.com/photos/14990581@N02/1589650848/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/14990581@N02/1589650692/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/14990581@N02/1588760031/

Vadersf15t
ok fair enough i quite agree as far as the crappy weathering. BUT... thats a huge BUT. If i repainted it, do you feel it has possibilities? i mean i feel its not that bad as far as a homemade pack goes although i know for sure its not screen accurate. if i redid the paintjob do you think it would be worth it? SethB6025
Boy howdy.. One issue worth noting if you are seeking deployment is that it looks like the main body is one part, it should be two. There are some workable elements there, the paint definitely needs re-done.
TD2802
The dirt could use more pack

steve12201
Man, It looks like camo paint....I say tear it apart, strip it, clean it, then dirty it, and lastly .....re-assemble it. You will have a better base then to judge what to do with it....and if you choose to sell it, you might get more $$$ for it. Good luck Steve

It's certainly salvagable and many parts can be re-used. The weathering is supposed to be subtle, not like it was dipped in mud.
Vadersf15t
lol just a question for the general populace of the non deployed, non 501st aspiring Sandtroopers: Where would we be without the help of you gentlemen?
whitecommando
Hey, that is from the movie Aliens! No, wait, Ghostbusters 4... where they had to hunt and capture the ghost of the Predator from the first Predator film... they had to have camo in the jungle. TK8034
I mean, I'm no expert but ...ummm..... that's friggin' bad. Paint it black and see what it looks like then decide whether to ditch it. ...Sorry......I threw up a little in the back of my mouth... Vadersf15t
Actually, i tore it apart and the only thing i kept was the straps, mortar tube and canister part. Can you believe that this is what it looks like now??
