Good evening all! I am joining this site as a result of obtaining some TD armor via ebay. I have actually utilized this site before to research into what makes a TD a TD! im looking to make some modifications to the armor i have obtained and put my own little twist on things so that i can stand on line with my fellow TD's and get the "dirty work" done! to be honest i have no history with prop making or modeling but do share a great reverance for the star wars universe and more importantly to me, a feeling of wanting to please others and put a smile on their faces. i live in New York City and it is my dream to join the Empire City Garrison. I look forward to listening, learning and taking any and all advice i can get from you all!

Lets get those Rebel Scum!!!

Hello to all you dirty troops ,

My name is Richie and after a long long time of tellin myself I was gonna get some armor and start troopin, I've decided to get off my keister and do it. A little about me, I live in South Boston MA, im 26, and i was in the marines from 00' to 04. When tryin to decide what trooper id do i always liked the TD's more and since i spent time in the big sand box during the USMC id put my fine knowledge of sand and wind to use. Im saving for my armor now, I should have it by mid NOV. In the meantime im in between building my pack and my MG-34. Ill make sure to post pictures and ask questions so i dont make any boot mistakes. I wanna make sure that when I go for my TD # from the 501st and my deployment i wont have any problems. You guys run a great site full of LOADS of info so I thank you and look forward to becoming a fellow trooper and being deployed.

Hey Troops! My names's Kirk, so where can I get a nice set of armor? I kiiiiiiid, I kiiiiiiid. I've got a couple of armor sets right now, an SDS and an AP kit that is calling my name. Also looking to get another set of either TM or TE2 (haven't decided yet). Hope to have a TD designation one day, but I know I've got a lot of back reading, learning, and rolling in the mud to do before I get there. I appreciate you letting me join in the forums and might I say that a number of you are looking very good these days. Hope to have some tupperware strapped to my back one day!

Thanks!

Kirk

Hey hey... after years of trying to get my armour up to MEPD calliber, I scooped up a completed suit off a fellow 501st member... who just happened to be my exact size and shape (more or less)...

My first events are this weekend... I'll get my pic taken then, and make a formal request to be deployed...

Hi!

Just wanted to pop in. Though I'm not even a trooper yet, I'm planning on getting a helmet shortly and getting it good and dirty!

My name is Ole Jacob (just OJ for short...), I'm 31 years old and from Norway. Managed to bump into some 501st guys at CE Europe, and got hooked...

Now, I just have to persuade my wife so I can start off with a helmet...

Hi Brothers!

Richard Vargas (TK-1845) Reporting in!

After havin g my armor for about a year I decided to turn to where my heart really is and turn my Armor to Sand trooper status.

I´m in the last stages of transformation like weathering and getting a full mg-34 combat rifle ready.

Last night i changed smoke bubbles for flat greens and I´m in love with how it looks!

Tonight´s mod will be to cut open all 6 grey ventilation areas and replace the plastics for grey mesh (fine one) to have all 6 ventilation areas free on the lid.

will post pics next week of the complete conversion.

I´ll change the plastic belt for canvas tomorrow and will put toghether the backpack and mp40 puches on the weekend.

I thank you all in andvance for the support that I know I´ll get, characteristic of the 501st Legion.

I´ll be seeing you on the dunes brothers!

Vode An!
