  1. Wow you guys are a really great looking squad. Great variation in the look of each of you but you all look like you belong together. Very cool!
  2. So when I saw the new trailer recently I was convinced there was a quick flash of a desert weathered helmet, as one of the new characters whips it off in close-up before looking bent out of shape about something. Alright! I thought, sandtroopers return! So I went back through for a closer look. It's not dirt... Maybe he's got a bit more of a reason to be a bit shell-shocked. Anybody else notice this?
  3. Gorgeous. Stupendous. I love the attention to gaffer tape detail. It just sums up everything that makes the desert troopers the coolest thing in the SW universe. They've never been bettered. Great gear, so cool.
  4. Spectacular. A thing of beauty. A work of dirty art. Awesome.
  5. Gorgeous dirt. Looks great!!
  6. Really great build, very inspiring! All the best parts, attention to detail, sticking hard to the sources, its all there. Above and beyond.
  7. Its remarkable how bad the helmet looks now... What with so many other great options out there... The only thing worse than a hero lid is a bad hero lid...
  8. I can't help thinking that this scene would get a heck of a lot messier than this artist is suggesting...
  9. I still don't understand what the point of this would be without the dirt and crud.
  10. Boy, everyone on this forum is really on the same wavelength...
  11. Hey guys, This is not strictly TD related, but it sure as heck applies to the feminine variants of trooper armour, TKs, TBs, etc. Hilarious anyway. Female Armour Sucks TC

    Awsome

Nice to see that those Dewbacks can get some speed going, they just need a decent run-up! Nice touch that the rider has dropped the reins too. Reins in the teeth western style isn't really viable for the TD cavalry I guess...
  13. Get well soon QM! BTW...The UK customs people just told me your pack parts have cleared the blockade and should be in my hands tomorrow. Can't wait!! TC
  14. What?! That's crazy! Utterly insane! Fully-functional? Is that allowed? But it IS quite cool. The walking part will be tricky.
  15. Geepers Rolf. That's really something. Please tell me you are not going to sell it. Because if you did I probably would not be able to stop myself buying it and my house is already overflowing with pieces of bent plastic. Wow. Respect. Your 'broken' Sci-fire MG15 has a loving home by the way. Its back in Europe, for the second time... T
  16. OK, since we are fessing up... Here are mine. http://www.flickr.com/photos/58796593@N02/
  17. Interesting! Does anyone know if its lighter than the real MG34, or does it replicate the weight as well as the look?
  18. SWEET! I guess you'll post a run list or something?
  19. I bought an MG-34 in good nick a year or so ago for 600 GBP and sold it recently for 850 GBP. Very cool thing to have but way too heavy for anything troop-related, except display. TC
  20. Inspired. The use of the shaving cream spray cap is a stroke of utter genius. I would never have recognised any of those parts after assembly.
  21. This made me laugh- from a 1/6 Sandtrooper auction on eBay. Described, as usual, as being highly screen accurate, yadda yadda. New Backpack Design?
  22. 'Insert Image' isn't working for me so here's a link to a couple of better images... Silenced E-11
  23. Sometimes you want to blast something without waking the neighbors...
  24. Awesome. That's extremely helpful. Thanks!
  25. Hey, I'm wondering if anyone can tell me how wide the MG-15 saddle-drum or 'Doppeltrommel 15' is? That's the longest (side to side) measurement, left to right if you were pointing the weapon at the rebel of your choice. I've searched all the usual MG-15 specs sites, and nobody seems to think that measurement is worth mentioning. I guess it isn't that important, but just I'd like to know how big the thing is supposed to be. If anybody has a real one or Sci-fire repro and has the time to measure it, I would be very thankful for the info.
