  1. amazing stuff, Chuck! i really envy your skills!
  2. i said it once and i´m not getting tired of repeating it: You took the weathering to the next (accuracy) level! while i think one would feel the weathering to be too much it IS uberaccurate! judging by the limited pictures showing the actual texture of the TD weathering yours is more accurate than anything we´ve seen so far! AWESOME!
  3. wow, what a great looking radio! nice work, John! i especially love the clear cover on the radio dial, the knurled edge really gives it a original look!
  4. that´s definatly a beauty! if i haven´t already a original sterling E-11 i´d be all over it, Jörg! please let your father know he´s doing a outstanding work there!
  5. Thanks a bunch, bro´s! I really appreciate it! And now... german beer for all!

hahaha. i didn´t hear that word for a long time! Aber so nennt man den Schwamm wirklich in Deutschland! Ich kenne den Namen auch! i can only echo what the others said, apply the colors using airbrush but try to imitate the textured look by rubbing some paint off, maybe not only in the high spots but also a light overall texture would give it a less painted look.
  7. Eric, that´s just amazing! i love your weathering method!
  8. like many of us i had tons of small accidents in my childhood and as a halfpipe skateboarder even more and i love stories like that as a privat person, really funny and so.... BUT working as a male operation room nurse in a hospital with a big plastic- and particulary handsurgery i hate all those stupid cutting themself while working on their hobby stuff!!!! (i had to go to hospital once too while working at my girlfriends hamsters cage with a x-acto... almost lost the tip of my fore finger...)
  9. Jez has a amazing side-by-side comparison on his website, go right HERE!

  11. congratulations and all the best to you and your fiancee!
  12. great work, detective! i would be really interested in getting a inside view on the time schedule for filming the Mos Eisley scenes. if we knew when each scene was filmed it might explain the costume allocation together with a specific actor.
  13. you´ve done an outstanding job again, Mike! great to see this uncommon character get´s a little attention!
  14. sorry i took so long, bro! i just sent you the template i have at hand via email!
