OK, I just need some clarification. The Captain (orange pauldron) TD's are accepted in the 501st? For example if I were to construct the Docking Bay 94 V1 (Garinden), Docking Bay 94 V2 (Tuck & Roll), or a Roadblock V2 TD, those are acceptable forms of the sandtrooper armor into the 501st?

they can not have holsters for MEPD....check with you GML for local approval. My suggestion would be to take it off for your submission pics and use it if desired for NON cannon events

Hey I was checking out the TD's walking down the alley http://images.wikia.com/starwars/images/1/1c/Sandtroopers2-hd.jpg right? and the one in front looks like he has no backpack and one small spanish pouch on the left. Is tis true? since this is the TD I am modeling my armor after until I can get a backpack set up. THANKS BROTHERS

Every time I think I have my cantina captain build figured out I come up with another question or two...so here goes.

I read that cantina captain used the hero lid. Does this mean I couldn't make SWAT with a stunt bucket?

Also, I know RS is geared more towards a TD build, but my budget calls for AP. Outside of tracking down a knee plate the transition to TD should go rather smoothly shouldnt it?

It's a stunt helmet with only cut out three holes each side...you see, everything will be fine. And an AP lid is also ok for this build.

My SWAT cleared armour is ATA so go for it. In my opinion other armours may have sharper detailing but you can cover alot up with dirt as a Sandy anyway. We will never discriminate at MEPD other than against FX helmets (which is something the 501st is generally against nowadays)

Thanks...got on the ATA waiting list last week...will be sending payment for my lid tomorrow and start piecing together my rig over the next few months. I may post pics of my bucket build but there will be a lot of time between that and my armor build. Lol
