Last year we ended up taking this picture when a few of us got together. Would be cool to get a few more people for a larger group picture. Maybe we could wrangle up an MEPD banner. 6170 Posted March 16, 2010 Author Share Posted March 16, 2010 Great picture, yea I missed the 501st picture cuz I think I was doing the Official Star Wars Breakfast. I hope there is no over lap this year, since the SW Breakfast is a must do for me and the best way to start off Saturday's Con.... Well not as good as pistol whipping the Twilight Fans but one can't have everything now can we? Nol SD Comic-Con is a beast everyone should do at least once.. Honestly it should be a right of passage for anyone in the 501st. There is nothing like walking in full gear on the main floor with 100,000 nutty sci-fi fans most of which want to take a picture with you. Last year my wife kept count since she wrangles for me most of the time and I stopped and took pictures with close to 200 people. I plan on wearing both my TD and my new Clone armor. Of coarse the TD gets priority. I normally just park and change in the down stairs garage as it makes life so much easier. I mean short walking distance. I sold that TD suit shortly after last year, but I'm building another for Jeff right now. I'm too big to wear one, and I'm a firm believer in wearing something that fits your body shape. Hope you all have fun. I will admit, seeing a stack of TD's walking through the crowd was cool. I know Ben, Eddie and I will be in full effect, hopefully there will be a few more Sandys representing. I will be wearing my TD, TI and soon to be Ct/TC/AT-TE Gunner One of my friends wants to wear my TD which will be fun since he never has worn armor before and picking CC for his first 'troop' is going to be interesting to say the least..
