I thought about the plastic end caps at the top end of my Karrimor frame:

and remembered having once seen a picture where they looked different and found this screen grab:

I assume that they are from a different earlier version of the Karrimor Totem:

So I had to change them and luckily I have found some endcaps that would fit and match the look in my local diy store:

And now I am really happy with my pack:

And finally I completely redid the weathering on my left shin as it was too dark.

Before:

almost clean again:

and after a lot of work it looks like this (in different lighting):

Not too much posing trying to emulate the screen grabs this time, my wife wasn´t very happy anyway, especially as I managed to headbutt her with my helmet when taking it off while she was moving closer to show me the pics, damn!

Anyhow, that´s it, cheers mates

Comments to the weathering:

With the weathering it is very difficult. The reference pictures in the movie were made under different conditions. That's why it looks brighter and then darker. The same problem had Heroma, SWAT # 50, by his thigh. From the front it looks bright, laterally extremely dark. A question of contrast. In the first pictures from you, it still looks too dark, in others it fits again. It's difficult to get the right lighting conditions like there. That's why you get a "go" from me. Very good work Urs!

**Additional Comments**

Urs, the pouch is not quite right yet. The distance forward is now correct, but the up position is not quite right. The pouch hangs a bit over the belt and hides it, with you still underneath. Please set it higher. You look in the picture, the slanted end of the belt is hidden.

You are right, I have noticed this too, the problem was that the threading was too close to the edge of the leash, so the belt couldn´t simply slide under.

but as the thread was already coming loose, I just cut it and took it out.

I used a screw to reposition the little leash.

I didn´t put on the whole armor again, just the parts to show what it looks like now and I am happy with the result.

I hope you are too, Thomas:smile:

** ACTIVATED**

Urs, It is my honor to officially activate you as the third SWAT Officer of 2019.

Furthermore, I think it's fitting to congratulate you on your birthday to the SWAT.

Your hard work and your attention to detail on your build has been carefully evaluated and inspected. You have met all the requirements to place you among the MEPD's Finest.

Thank you for your patience throughout this process, but you can now take your place amongst the SWAT Troopers! Well done.

Please submit a picture that you would like to use for your SWAT Profile to Luis (TD-5044 / "SANDMAN TIGUI") to help get you properly processed onto the SPECIAL WEAPONS and TACTICS Unit Members Page (which unfortunately isn´t working at the moment:sweat:)

Congratulations on successfully taking the next step as a proud member of the SANDTROOPER ELITE.

Please gather your gear, charge your weapon and report to the 'Ready Room' to await further orders.

Welcome aboard, SWAT OFFICER # 55 :td:
