TD1043
notice he doesn't have a cap on his tube That's one reason why I decided to leave the cap off mine, but my pack isn't even close to being movie accurate.
runJEDIrun
they look like black 9volts almost
weiBes trooper
They do look like 9vlt batteries
freakengine
I don't think they'r 9V batteries. The proportions just don't look right. Too thin for the width and height.
cjfive
its not but it looks like my electric leash...err pager. Old fashion style, but didn't exist "a long time ago" cj
SethB6025
Looks kind of like a two-pack rechargeable battery. Maybe similar to what's used on the E11 (except upside down)?
RoCKo
what picture is that, mike? never seen a colored version of this picture...
TD-1536
what picture is that, mike? never seen a colored version of this picture... It's from the 'look sir droids' scene... I thought I got it from you? Not sure, I would think it came from the Brak's Buddy CD, but I don't have that either, so I have no idea where I got it from. I'll email it to you. crashmann
Way back in the early 80's, I had lights that you would strap onto an arm or leg when riding a bike. The batteries inside were rectangular like a 9 volt, but much larger - about 2" x 3" They had terminals on the top just like a 9 volt. Kinda like these! I'm not sure what the thing between them would be. Maybe a power terminal strip? Charlie TI-
runJEDIrun
yeah it kinda looks like two 4.5 volt battery boxes connected with a telephone cord. http://www.telephonemagic.com/images/norte...curly-cords.jpg
RoCKo
Kinda like these! good find... i think this could be the right part! @ mike: sorry, my fault! i thought this was one of the weathering black&white shots!
freakengine
They really do look like those 4.5V batteries, but I'd bet they were vacuformed plastic versions or cases for them. Batteries + Tunisian heat would be bad, plus the weight of them might have been an issue.
TD-1536
Here's an idea
SethB6025
That looks pretty good (and cheap! ) but the sides look more rounded in the photo.

Arppegio
What's inbetween them? It looks like something is connecting both "boxes" together. Or is it just part of the main boxes and lighting?
TD-1536
i saw this on the link charlie posted, and it looks pretty close i think. http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=htt...6lr%3D%26sa%3DN $122! x 2 ?????????? Art Andrews
That pic is a screengrab from the Star Wars Screen Themes set titled "Classic Stormtroopers." I don't think they are on the current CD but will be on the next version.
