  1. I would like to be forever banned. Thank you
  2. Do what you have to do, i will not destroy something i spent so much money and time on. Gino, you can kiss my white you know what! it aint gonna happen! cry all you want, it wont change anything, looks who is going back on there word now? bye I thank all who support artistic freedom..
  3. The pencil use, is a cool idea. never done that before, always freehand and wobbly at best. may be to much coffee
  4. The weathering does look great! I like the scuff marks, looks very natural...
  5. I think we all get along great except for one and that used to be two. I share and we all share, all we have learned and know. why dont the other two, what sectret could be so awe inspiring that it cant be told? NONE in my mind, its just a vaccum formed piece of art that was made in the 70s. do we love it YES, do we need it NO. but it is cool to have wether it be a TE2 or an AP or others, are any copy true %100 to the film probably not, but that dont stop us from being brothers who love the hobby rite? If these two think for one minute that they control us they are wrong, the time is coming soon, for a new real cast ANH helmet they just dont know it, pics will be taken and all will know the truth. If i have to refinance my soul, i will make it happen.
  6. Scuffing up certain parts would add to the used look, but to sand it down is no need and it would be very hard to remove the weathering after doing so. i tried a new weathering method this weekend and it works great. i diluted some acrylic paints in water and sprayed a light mist on several parts and let dry, then change your color and go over it again. it look very cool and natural effect. I first did small amounts of the normal weathering technice then did the spray. hang your parts so the drips run down, other wise it will look strange
  7. You still make (authentic helmets) no one is stopping you. what about the people including my self who dont want to py $1000.00 dollars for a helmet? i geuss you dont consider thier need either? just the top dollar payer that can afford. no one has taken away your rights to that, or the other guy. Why cant i have a replica for less money and mabye less accuracy? one for the other.. Its funny Matt stepped in his own poo pile and said he sent me 2nd gen helmet and armor because he knew i was a recaster. I didnt even buy it from him and its a 2005 suit and i wasnt even around then. my son got me into this stuff and i thought it would be a good way to share something we both like and learn something new at the same time. Share Gino, share!! Kindness and respect for those who want to know! what part of that dont you understand. We all want the same thing, but you two are losing face because of your greater than you attitude, dont you see? I personaly dont care what you own or where it came from, it dont matter to me or alot of other people. you guys think you are the only holy two that has or can cast an original. dont think so!! I am going to bring down the walls and share with the world all of the BS you hold so dear..
  8. Hey Gino, i am sorry you feel this way. Good luck on your eBay sales..
  9. Thats the guy!! i used to talk with him on occasion. he sells armor for Guidon, at least thats what he said.. Filmfigurine! great find Mario..
  10. I have seen in the past other people selling MFX armor for him, i assume it was for him. they ripped off pictures from a guy i know in England that was using the same pictures to sell his armor. Ebay ended up closing the German auction and i havent seen it up since.
  11. Guidon is his name. I have heard not so good things about his sales. The way the ears are trimmed are like his and the screws he uses on the ear caps. I have an early movie-fx and the ears are the same, but the faceplate and dome are different. I cant confer on his sales practices, its just what i heard. plus my friend in germany had a bad time with him also and he lives in Germnay. I have never bought from him so who knows.
  12. I agree, this place is awesome. i wish i had more time to do props, but my new job keeps me away from home alot. I have been in 4 different counties in three months, plus several states. As i write this, i am setting in Holiday Inn Express in Ohio. My time to help others has been cut by two thirds and leaves me with only weekends. I will still try, but it takes alot longer.
  13. I was told by someone that casted a screen used helmet, that the bumps were on the inside of the helmet and came threw when casted. I dont see evidence of this on the real helmets in any pics other than paint drips on the outside. since i havent ever held one and felt the inside who knows, but it makes sense if the outside was cast these paint bumps would be present. I agree with Mike that removing a pull with such texture on the mold must be a challange.
