Felice
Hi John, thank you for doing your homeworks! I got an information out of the CS-Office about your backpack...but let us start with the beginning... MEPD SWAT OFFICER: Application review part 3 Name: John Reilly Legion ID: 21804 Forum Name: Talizman Garrison: UK Garrison ANH Santrooper selected: Cantina Captain Helmet Green Lenses: check Paint Color on Traps / Tears: check Paint Color and Number of Teeth: check Mic Tips: check Vocoder Color: check Tube Stripes: see comments Rank Bar: check Brow: check Side Screws (ears): check Weathering: see comments Specials (ears): check **Additional comments** --> on the right side two stripes are closed together. Please try to replicate this --> on the left side we have 13 tube stripes. Yours have 15 --> sorry dude, but I can't see the two marked spots on rear **RESULT ON HELMET** PENDING Armor / Suit Details Canvas Straps: check Neck Seal: check Black Undersuit: check Shoulder Bells: check Biceps: check Forearms: check Pauldron: check Chest / Back Plate: pending Kidney / Butt Plate: check Ab Plate / Side Rivets / Cod: check Strapping: check Tighs: pending Shins / Calves: check Sniper Plate: check Boots: check Gloves: check Ammo Belt (Waist) w/ correct Angled Edge: check Ammo Belt (right knee): check Canvas Belt: check Pouches: pending Weathering: pending Crotch Snaps: check **Additional Comments** **RESULT ON ARMOR** PENDING Backpack Details: see comments Weathering: check **Additional Comments* --> First of all the weathering matches the visual reference quite better and is fine! But our CS noticed (and I missed this issue. Sorry for that!!!). You used an old backpack Setup which is no longerup to SWAT Standards anymore. The current SWAT packs require the correct Karrimor frame (or an adequate replica like the one from Michael Seeger) and also are not allowed to show any connection tubes. The SWAT CRL states: " The backpack frame must match on screen visible details and may be made from PVC or aluminum. " Also your syphon is too inaccurate. Even the one from Gordon would be a major improvement. Please check the CRLs http://www.mepd.net/crl/ **RESULT ON BACKPACK** PENDING Weapon: DLT-19 Details: see comments Weathering: see comments **Additional Comments** **RESULT ON WEAPON** PENDING Ok my friend. Some points are still open but a lot of open issues are closed. The biggest challenge will be your backpack. If you Need any advice and Support you will finde some real backpack experts right here. (e.g. Strider) Cheers mate Felix
talizman
hi Felix okay, to address your points -: HELMET I will adjust the tube stripes on right as requested I will remove two of the stripes on the left I'll get you a better picture of the spots on the rear. They are there! :-D BACK PACK I'm totally redoing my pack. I've ordered a Karrimore frame, a raw cast accurate syphon and a brexton box for the toolbox. When the parts arrive I'll adapt the frame and fit all my components to it

Mine is standard Karrimor so is more of a natural curve
Hausi
To achieve that "bend" look, I just attached the lowest aluminum strip holding the lower seedtrays on the other side of my Karrimor, that way it at least appears as if the seedtrays are at an angle.

Do you mean on the “back” side of the frame?
Hausi
Right, that's what I mean, that way there will be a steeper angle, but I think you will have to reposition the aluminum strips slightly, as the radio will probably be too close to the bottom curve of your Karrimor. I can’t have the bottom tray sitting in any further.... the syphon already fouls the bottom bar of the Karrimor. If I set this back further then the syphon won’t sit right at all
