RS Prop Masters (pre-built) level of certification
Sn4k3 replied to ThirtyEighT's topic in Sandtrooper Armor
Well... Is one of the best armors there are to buy, and depending how you put the pieces together it will have a closer or farther look to a screen used armor. Sent from my GM1900 using Tapatalk -
Well look at this one. I have it treated because the leather was a little dried, the product the store used to treat it make it darker, it was clearly brown when i bought it. Nowadays still is brown, a very, very dark brown. It looks darker in the photo Sent from my GM1900 using Tapatalk

The thing is, if the had a dynamic range problem with the cameras (that's why Vader had gray in his mask), the same can be happening with the possible very dark brown leather pouches... Sent from my GM1900 using Tapatalk

Were the screen used leather mp40 and spanish pouches black? Or dark brown? To me some look a very dark brown And the ones that look black, must have a piece factory black. Do you think the production team took the time to dye black those pieces? Sent from my GM1900 using Tapatalk

"Move Along" Captain with black pauldron?
Sn4k3 replied to bantha hunter's topic in Sandtrooper Armor
For example, the helmet of the "look sir droids" is the same of the dewback rider and one of the troopers in the docking bay shootout, but the armor has different set up. I believe there were only 6 full suits for the tattoine scenes Sent from my GM1900 using Tapatalk -
"Move Along" Captain with black pauldron?
Sn4k3 replied to bantha hunter's topic in Sandtrooper Armor
The reason that happened is because between shots, the actors playing the sandtroopers will take off parts of the armor and pile them on a corner until is time to shoot again during the undressing and dressing process some actors will switch pieces without noticing the mistake or worrying about it. There are many of those cases during the few minutes we see the sandies on screen Sent from my GM1900 using Tapatalk -
Did you made them bro, or did you bought them from someone? Sent from my GM1900 using Tapatalk

Impressive, most impressive. Amazing work on those shims, please, do tell us the secret Sent from my GM1900 using Tapatalk

Anon Stormtrooper HDPE helmet kit: "Look Sir, droids"
Sn4k3 replied to Hausi's topic in Sandtrooper Armor
Some people specialize in retrieve files from drives, im just saying, there is hope. I noticed that, yes, the curve and thickness of the stripes vary even in the same line of stripes. The thickness seems to be something around 3mm, but as you said, that, for sure varies among the helmets. Sent from my GM1900 using Tapatalk -

Again, first time i see that one. And the drives, are they broken? By the way Paul, ¿are the tube stripes around 15mm tall? I read that in some thread that i cant find now Sent from my GM1900 using Tapatalk -

Doopy"s Electrobinoculars
Sn4k3 replied to Bulldog44's topic in Pouches, Pauldrons, and other Accessories
I think the thing that makes yours looks odd, is the inconsistency between the chipping in the corner and borders and the lower surfaces less prone to be scratched, it looks too clean in the parts less likely to be scratched with normal use Sent from my GM1900 using Tapatalk -

Sn4k3 replied to Bulldog44's topic in Pouches, Pauldrons, and other Accessories
It looks,.interesting, maybe the chipping should be just in the areas where it would normally chip off first, like the areas of mayor contact with other surfaces Sent from my GM1900 using Tapatalk -

Hi Rick, i hope you are safe and well. That tip is very weird, is someone currently making those? You know, a "screen accurate" version, though i believe that is impossible unless we discover what the **** that piece was, or is Sent from my GM1900 using Tapatalk -
Thanks! I'll sand down a bit the top an down and i will get back here with the results Sent from my GM1900 using Tapatalk

Hi guys i hope you all are ok I come here to create a thread about how much to cut the plastic part of the belt, on the top, sides and below Does anyone has a reference in mm? From the last block on each side how much do the belt should extend? And on too/below, how close the do the edge should be to the blocks? The photo is my belt as it is right now Btw did you know the the blocks aren't perfectly aligned? Sent from my GM1900 using Tapatalk

Mine is put together with magnets in the torso, so i could easily disassemble it, but i definitely don't want to carry the helmet outside the box. Sent from my GM1900 using Tapatalk
