  1. just had some fun this morning with a spare TK bucket i hadn't assembled yet. not even sure what it is, but here goes... took the IC idea and thought about the step between them and the current TD's of course its not done yet, and have some small details to do on the nose.
  2. way ahead of you. I did that today as well. not that you can see it under the pauldron, but its there. will post pics once we get them back. the "ramp" for the sniper plate was cool actually. helps with knee lock. i suggest everyone add this if they can.
  3. updated sniper plate and leather straps.... full pics from event tonight to come later.
  4. Thanks Paul. ...good luck with the FISD this year!
  5. updated my badge accordingly, as ive loved that new round patch since i saw it. currently makign sure my armor is up to code. small mods to make. last troop out one of my leather shoulder straps broke....

    Pauldron Help

agree. i've seen Mike pauldron up-close and personal. it's the way to go. the orange one just do what he said. i have used motor oil, fullers earth and spray paint all on different pauldrons with varying levels of success. the white one, which i currently use i had to use other methods, that probably wouldn't work as well on the orange and black ones.
  13. yes. you might try and move your nose fan up to one side of the nose vents. that rocks. ive had the same setup in the past and it works awesomely.
  14. excuse my ignorance, but i alwys thought the MFX was pretty much the same as GT/FX just by a different maker
  15. yes it is an older FX/GT kit.
  16. be easier to take a pic. had to dig it out and dust it off but here goes.
  17. cant wait. i just did this to my clone bucket aerators. drilled out the center part with large drill bit. prolly 1/2" used 4 layers of different mesh/screening and different colors of paint. what do you think? i MIGHT do this with my TD lid.
  18. yes that was my parade helmet. its an FX as well. i havnt modded my RT helmet just yet. if i dio, ill use better materials for that area so you can tell, and ill prolly only use the back
