  1. Great Job, looks awesome! Are you planning on bringing it to CVI?
  2. Agee completely. Plus TDs always look more serious (or menacing).
  3. You can file away small sections from the ears until they sit flush. Just hold them on the helmet and look at what section needs to be removed so that it sits flatter. Then file that piece down a little, refit, and check again. The ears should be flat against the helmet. When you eventually put the screws in thsoe will pull the ears tighter/flatter.
  4. Great to see that coming along! I thought about building that set since I got back from CV (hence he screen caps I forwarded you). Question - is the 94 done in foam board?
  5. Looks good Remember to dirty up those aerators/hovi mics
  6. For cracks I use small strips of canvas (left over from the belt) and soak it in E6000. I have used that to stop cracks and reinforce thin areas - works great with no problems.
  7. I made a soft case for my DLT19 - it is a long, narrow cloth tube that ties off at one end. Modeled after a rifle sock.
  8. Waiting for over 2 weeks is too long IMHO. Frustrating I know - my application took almost 3 weeks because it was 'forgotten about'. Just keep on bugging your GML
  9. I attached mine using one piece of webbing. I put a snap on each end of the that and glued the other snap to the inside (upper part) of the shoudlers. Where the webbing runs under my elastic shoulder pieces I sewed velcro to both the webbing and elastic so that holds it in place. So I have the one piece of webbing that runs from shoulder to shoulder, behind my neck. I also sewed another piece of webbing off the left side of that shoulder webbing so that I can attach the shoulder pouch. Haven't had any probelms with all that holding up. The strap for the shoulder pouch was not sewn on when I took this picture, but it shows what I just described.
  10. I have made a couple jawa outfits now. The Krayt forum is good and also check out tk409's page - the jawa is under the TD section near the bottom on the right. I used his diagram and it worked great. Here is a pic of me and my wife. Her jawa is finished I just have to finish the gun holster and power pack.
  11. good one. I used E6000 as well. What doesn't E6000 stick to?????
  12. Looking at that pic, does it mean the right shoulder armor piece needs to be WAY down touching the foremarm?
  13. Take all the time you need to get back to normal. I think everyone in this hobby can relate to burning the candle at both ends. Best wishes for a very healthy recovery.
  14. Great job. Exactly what I used to make mine, although mine is slightly different. I think you have done it all now!
  15. Happy birthday! Hope it is a great one for you
