  2. For mine, I used this dye: http://www.tandyleatherfactory.com/search/...ct_4&kw=dye I got the leather pouches, so this had to go over it (to prevent black getting all over my armor): http://www.tandyleatherfactory.com/search/..._1&kw=sheen I think I did at least 2 layers of each on my pouches - hope this helps.
  3. Just under 20 minutes - click link > Old School Star Wars Filmstrip
  4. Is 7723 me? If its not, I'd like 3 copies with cases/covers. THANKS

  7. This board doesn't "Remember Me", even though I leave the box checked when I log in. Every other forum site I visit remembers me - nothing has been changed on my pc to make the cookies not work.
  8. HAPPY BIRTHDAY ROLF!!! Glad to see those HyperFirm's I sent you are being put to good use.

  12. 1) I'd like a "Mark All Forums Read" button on the forum index page 2) I'd like to see the emoticons of the black and white pauldron troopers added to the library (maybe grey too?) 3) I'd like the amount of characters used in the 'signatures' longer, along with larger size files for avatars
  13. I looked there quite a bit and got nowhere - not even one little part. I thought I'd find at least something, but nothing was uncovered.
  14. They put up a new auction today - check first post in this thread for link.
  15. New auction link as of 12/15/06: dZViewItem">http://cgi.ebay.com/World-War-II-Stormt ... dZViewItem If they run out, put the seller in your favorites list and check back, or write to them. I let the seller know that they may be getting many requests for these - hopefully they can get them whenever they're needed. Their email: troopersupplies@hotmail.com
  16. At Hobby Lobby, they carry a product called Presto-Felt < click for link to product Its a 9" x 12" sheet of sticky back felt for $0.99. I used 2 sheets on my helmet interior. You can cut it however you need to - just peel and apply it directly to the surface. Then I just used black paint to fill in any areas that weren't covered with the felt. The black interior helps cut down on light reflecting around inside (so people can't see your eyes through your lenses), and the felt helps with that "buckety" sound inside your helmet too - for both your hearing and when you speak into a mic.
  17. Can anyone post screen caps of the Death Star scenes where the MG-34 is shown? - it may give more insight. For those of us with HyperFirm MG-34's, if we wanted to change the stock to the 'bakelite' look, could using "Plasti Dip" work good? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Along with that "more futuristic feel" thought, might the stock on the Lewis have been smoothed and painted darker/blackish to match the MG-34 look?? (It does not appear to look like woodgrain) http://www.mepd.net/gallery/albums/wpw-20050605/PDVD_083.BMP (note: the trooper on the left carries the MG-34 upsidedown)
  18. Mike, On the black (upper) main box, what is that 'part' you are using on the right side of the blue bottle??
