  1. Thanks for all the replies. Was'nt aware of the originals being green, so it's too late, already done them, these were really bright green! In the end I used black liquid shoe polish. Gave them two coats all over and left them to dry, then sealed them with a clear waterproof spray, really pleased with them. Thanks again. Swiss.
  2. Thanks for all the help guys, i'll give them a go. Cheers Swiss.
  3. Hi, can anyone help, I purchased some MP40 pouches recently for my armour in green canvass. Very pleased with the look of them, but I know that I will need to dye them black. Can anyone recommend a good quality black dye that will cover the material and not run. many thanks, Swiss.
  4. Hi, can anyone help. I have just started to build my back pack and need to find where to get correct or nearly correct seed trays. I understand cat litter trays may also be close to screen accurate, but can any one tell me where to buy either of these items in England. I don't just want to use any box, would rather get it right the first time. many thanks, Swiss.
  5. Thanks guys, I was thinking of using the strap system, but might try velcro on the boot top first. Again thanks for the help. Swiss.
  6. Hi Guys, hope someone can answer this question. I am just completing my first set of armour and following various test fittings have come across a problem with the shin pieces riding up over the top of my boots when worn or walked in for a short time. I have had to shim the rears out to fit as they are a set of FX, and are still a bit tight, but I can't hink of a good way of holding them down in the correct postion so as to not see the top of my boots which spoils the whole look of the suit. Everything else has gone well and apart from the belt which I am still completing, this is the final thing to solve. If any one could suggest something then I would be grateful. swiss 5
