TD-5766
Instead of going on "Vacation" this year we are going on "Staycation". I'm working on the "Infusion Motor" as we speak. Don't tell anyone ok?
trooper1
Well why we are on the fuel issue. I to drive a diesel for work, and it is pretty sad that you can buy the hot dog, cheaper than the steak.... Diesel vs. Gasoline?? Diesel, the byproduct of the production of Gasoline has found its way to over $4.89 gallon here. This is BS!!!! but the glorious government wont do anything about it. Wy do anything when the trucking companies just pass the increase on to the consumer, and wont do anything to help stop the rise. Well I see a DEPRESSION on the horizon if things dont change soon. Shoot I am into sales, and have seen a drastic decline in purchases of not only trucks, but cars and motorcycles as well. People are taking the money they would use to buy newer vehicles to just scrape by enough to purchase fuel to get to work. Hey one last thing. I have heard about public transportation in other countries. These are great, but here in the states, especially here in WV, we dont have any..... Oh wait, we do have horses and buggies.... Well crap, the hay and grain have skyrocketed to, so now even the horse is expensive to upkeep Jay WV
Daetrin
I was thinking of moving to China but things are getting very expensive there too along the coastal cities. Seattle is more affordable than Beijing. It's tough all over it seems, unless you are in Dubai.
Short TRooper
Gas in dubai is $.44c per gallon, Iran is $.23c and Iraq is $.14c per gallon. Yes that is CENTS per gallon, not dollars.I saw that onthe FOXNEWS this morning and a bout choked on my hot tea... TD-1536
The enemy has a name and that is ICE futures exchange in London – called “ICE Futures." "Persons within the United States seeking to trade key US energy commodities – US crude oil, gasoline, and heating oil futures – are able to avoid all US market oversight or reporting requirements by routing their trades through the ICE Futures exchange in London instead of the NYMEX in New York." http://www.globalresearch.ca/index.php? ... a&aid=8878 In short, people with a lot of money to invest are doing so in Oil Futures, driving up the price and making a killing. They don't care about us little people - they will become the ruling elite and the middle class will become the new subservient lower class. Argosy
the way i see it, we either need to reassign the value of the dollar, which i dont see happening anythime soon, or reboot/reformat our monetary system, cause the way the U$D is apparently going, 'them dead presidents' will be just pretty slips of paper in afew years to a decade, imo american coinage might be salvagable, with the new but not wide enough circulated sacajaweha dollars and such, adding afew more coins to replace greenbacks in amount-purpose if not in overt value, and we might just bounce back in due time. maybe? This is essentially what Ron Paul wanted to do by going back to the Gold Standard. He had a lot of radical ideas that we should be doing, but are just too painful for the populace to accept. Personally, I'd like to see the IRS and Federal Reserve go away. To me, they are the biggest problems/enemies.

Starts counting the days before mike disappears Honestly i hope ron runs under the libertarian party or something... The idea of macian, obama or clinton being president doesn't thrill me **** we lose ether way. But then again we have been losing for years with this two party system democrat, republican two sides of the same coin.
TD2802
Just read this in a science mag: When you buy gasoline, you might want to make your purchase at night - it will be cheaper. Gasoline becomes more dense in cooler temperatures, and gas pumps measure gas by volume.
Daetrin
Funny enough what I read debunks that, as they say the tanks are deep enough not to be sensitive to such variations. Or...you could just trade that gas hog in for a more fuel efficient car
TD2802
I did some more checking and there seems to be an equal number of sources supporting it and not. My take is that the assertion arose possibly from people remembering their old physics classes about what happens when gas (or any liquid) heats and cools -its density either expands or contracts. It doesn't account for storage tank placement or how its measured by volume coming out of the nozzle. Lucky I take the bus so I spend less than $600 a year on gas. Google Amero or North American Union (a central point in Ron Paul's campaign) and check it out.
