hi, argosy here again anyway, ive been working on the straps/snaps system thats going to hold my armor together, and im now replacing the pentagon kneeplate for the diamond sandy-sniper kneeplate, and ive got it from sooty black to a nice off-white, after several dozen washings, and sanding on it some more to try for a nice and even dullness. i recently got a pair of walmart nerf clonetrooper blasters, and one im converting to a BFG (DLT-19-ish variant), or atleast trying to, with a coatrack pipe and some wood, the other im leaving stock to go in the holster, blue and orange and all. i also carved on the buttplate some to make it kinda thong-like and allow for easier walking and perhaps even sitting, and slitted the back of my boots to make flaps that can tuck under the calf armor, tho ill probably turn them into ankle boots with canvas straps anyway.

Links^ and of course, my creative mind comes up with an idea to combine the 2, even tho ill probably never see it or get to be in it :/ Supplies: a copy of MJ's Thriller, as good quality as possible, a good boombox or such, and about adozen to ahundred dancers, or 501st guys who are willing to co-ordinate to pull this twisty thing off. Costumes: 1 vader 1 Leia or other costume not mentioned below 4 to 8 to 12 clonetroopers (AOTC) 6 royal guards miscellaneous stormies, sandies, tuskens and bounty hunters, to take the place of the zombies, as many as possible. could be fun as a charity thing, it'd certainly get peoples attention if vader and company busted out doing jacksons thriller in a walmart parking lot or somewhere to music, and perhaps generate more money for said charity. more songs to come.

i got a black box voice changer from a garage sale recently, (looks like the one smitty has), and it has 3 modes; monster (ultra deep), alien, (super high), and speaker amplifier (ones own voice, but with the perfect touch of static buzz) and with a quick puf of breath into the mic, i can also get the perfect clicking sound. and for only 2 bucks, i'de say that im lucky to end up with such a perfect vox unit ^ . ^

the way i see it, we either need to reassign the value of the dollar, which i dont see happening anythime soon, or reboot/reformat our monetary system, cause the way the U$D is apparently going, 'them dead presidents' will be just pretty slips of paper in afew years to a decade, imo american coinage might be salvagable, with the new but not wide enough circulated sacajaweha dollars and such, adding afew more coins to replace greenbacks in amount-purpose if not in overt value, and we might just bounce back in due time. maybe?

*curtsy-bows* ;p hi all, the would-be trooper formerly known as Xeroroskk speaking, this is my new account, since i ended up limbo-ing my old account into an unknowingly now defunct email account <_< but meh, i think Argosy has a nicer ring than Xeroroskk anyway ^_^ anyway, aside from some snaps, velcro and some white canvas material, and a helmet, i should be evermore closer to being 501st ready, even without the sandpack, which is fairly easily replaceable anyway. the hardest part, i think, would be getting the helmet and messing it up right properly.
