Quartermaster Posted December 13, 2011 Share Posted December 13, 2011 The MEPD has made it's presence known again by having two of its Deployed Officers film an upcoming episode of Extreme Makeover Home Edition! Members of the Empire City Garrison were contacted through LFL to help make a Texas Family's trip to NYC that much more special. http://www.examiner....-after-wildfire Huge Star Wars fans, the family was shocked and surprised when 3 Sandtroopers (TD2557 John "Quartermaster" Hopper, TD6513 Dave Braun, TD4619 Eric Seeman), 3 Stormtroopers (TK3295 Steve Iervolino ECG Commanding Officer, TK4452 Ray Eng, TK6744 Chris Feehan) and Lord Vader (SL5928 Ron Lares) came marching into Central Park towards them. Lord Vader carried with him a laptop with a message from the shows host, Ty Pennington, that they would be leaving NY for San Francisco and Lucas Films Studios the following day to meet George Lucas himself. The show will be airing sometime in 2012. Our home base for this event was the Plaza Hotel (Hotel featured in "Home Alone"). Here are some photos from the event, courtesy of Mrs. Ronald Lares...
