DaveMars
should be proud of it mate,it looking great!!! Cheers mate! I've been working some seriously stupid hours at work & working on my armour between shifts. Pictures were rushed tho, we've had some serious rain this so called summer I think it'll look better now that ive done my tool pouch & the canvas shoulder straps It's either turned out well or I have a bit of a fan club, no bad comments yet & apart from my field pack on my last deployment I'm still not sure what else needed doing? Hope to see ya soon mate

DaveMars
I can taste it now brothers! Since my deployment attempt i have added the canvas shoulder straps, weathered my belt again but much lighter, the pic is in a dimly lit room and the tool pouch has been moved to the front I can't see anything else that needs improvement? DirtyBoy
one thing i noticed Dave is that your buttons look a little small on the torso and the rivet in the small box in the front should have a hole in it...i would remove that circle and just rivet in its place. DaveMars
one thing i noticed Dave is that your buttons look a little small on the torso and the rivet in the small box in the front should have a hole in it...i would remove that circle and just rivet in its place Gotcha! Think I do have bigger circles, screw cap covers. What size rivet will I need for the front box, similar to the size of the circle already there? & will it need painting White?? Cheers for you advice Rick
DirtyBoy
Excellent. The rivet is about 3 to 4mm....the length doesn't matter since all you see is the backside. Check out Rolf's swat thread and it shows a close up of it. Glad to help brother
DaveMars
How big do the 3 circles need to be roughly? I might have to cut them out of abs, my screw covers are not that much bigger
sir david
i would say the 3 buttons need to be approximately the size of a female popper head
