skunky
I'm not sure this is posted in the correct section but here goes...... I thought it about time I pulled my finger out and finished the CFO ROTJ armour I've had half finished for a while. After Pete's review thread and his awesome weathering of one of our suits I have had the encouragement to crack on and have a go myself. I've gone for the screen used Forest of Endor look..... I'm not finished yet and still have some armour parts to complete, the little fiddly parts and the helmet which I am really looking forward to weathering.... Tell me what you think. iconoclasta_88
This is really awesome. Beautiful armor and GREAT weathering. It makes me want to leave the dunes and go to Endor for a day or two... But then, I would miss the sand and the suns. HEHEHE... Congrats bro! This is truly inspiring. And wanted to add... this is a very different kind of weathering from what we normally see over here, but it looks awesome for sure! Love the Screen used look in any kind of armor! How did you do it? sandtrooper
I'll echo what Juan said. Great subtle weathering job.
Too Much Garlic
Admit it... you stole it off some dead trooper on Endor... grave robber. It looks awesome.

FIVE
The weathering on this is amazing! It looks real. Like, really, really real! Fantastic stuff man! I'm telling you... as much as I hate ROTJ armor, all these builds sure do make me hate it .001% less... which is HUGE!
Smally
Wow, well done Mark. Any chance of a pic of all the armour being worn/displayed? Smally.
JoeR
Fellas as Stukatrooper will agree - the more you study ROTJ the more you will like it! I hated them at first but when I was studying them before I bought my first original I was converted. Try studying screen caps and you will see what I mean. skunky
Thanks everybody! Really appreciate your kind words. I'm having real fun weathering this armour and as Joes says I hated ROTJ troopers in comparison to ANH/ESB but having created all these moulds from the set I bought from Cameron Oakley and formed the parts, researched every nook and cranny, assembled and now weathering this stuff, I love it! And that's a big Conversion for me. I weathered the armour using different grade sandpapers, wood stain, White spirit, newspaper and a great load of elbow grease! I'm planning on making a tutorial thread soon.
skunky
Ha Ha , Thanks guys! OK, I promise this is my suit and not an archive shot! I have yet to put this on a real human being or a clone but I will soon. I promise.... I know it never looks the same unless it's alive inside.....
