  1. Agreed all bad, they are recasters, there are much better vendors on here and FISD.
  2. I think you have to be there. Sorry if this is a tease, it was a heads up for any UK members... Joe
  3. Mark and I have donated a set of CfO ROTJ Stormtrooper Armour which the talented folks of the UK Garrison will be assembling and giving away in a charity raffle this weekend at the National Space Centre in Leicester, UK. Entry to the raffle is just £2! May the Fourth be with you! Thanks to Gary Hailes for organising this. Have a great weekend folks... Joe, Mark and Rob CfO
  4. Looking awesome bro! The TK4510 decals were made for a TE helmet which is very different to mine, so they need cutting to fit perfectly. We are working on some super accurate silk screen printed ones but they will not be done for a while. Keep up the awesome work. JoeR
  5. Fellas as Stukatrooper will agree - the more you study ROTJ the more you will like it! I hated them at first but when I was studying them before I bought my first original I was converted. Try studying screen caps and you will see what I mean.
  6. Awesome, Mike's work is superb!
  7. Hi mate Try Stephen Webster Plastics on Stephen Webster Plastics Brick Knoll Park - Ashley Road St Albans - Herts - AL1 5UG T: 01727 863138 F: 01727 844291 E: sales@stephen-webster.co.uk
  8. Looking forward to seeing what this looks like. It will be nice to see ANH armour with a clear lineage, no dubious history and no details removed by third parties etc.
  9. Awesome work A. I love the screen used SW universe look. Top notch.
  10. I owned two original ROTJ helmets and TE visited the archives and saw multiple original helmets and suits. Taking into account the age, there are areas that had not yellowed and it is pretty conclusive that the original ABS had a biscuit tint. I have reproduced this colour on my latest run of ROTJ helmets. Juan - I can't wait to see this build up!
  11. A few people have emailed for February, but I think we will do something a little more interesting for February. Any ideas would be appreciated. Joe
  12. Post away mate, you don't need permission from anyone. Joe
  13. Congratulations to Steve Gonsoulin aka Monoman527911 of FISD who is our first winner! To all those who didn't win but kindly made the effort to enter the competition, thank you and there will be another draw in February! We will also be sending our brother Rolf H a bucket kit as he had a tough year last year. Here's to 2011! Over and out! JoeR
  14. Thanks guys. I got all your emails and look forward to announcing the winner shortly. Joe
  15. Gra we have an ANH helmet coming out that will be much better, we have Pantone matched the HDPE to an original helmet reference and have super sharp molds. Standby for something sensibly priced and super accurate! Joe
  16. Bump. I will donate a helmet to you Rolf to do in the SE style. I would love to see you do a build up. Drop me your address buddy. Joe
  17. To coincide with the launch of CfO - Cast from Original products we are delighted to offer our friends on FISD and throughout the hobby the chance to win a free CfO Cast from Original ROTJ Stormtrooper Helmet! The free prize draw will be announced at the end of January 2011. The winner will receive a free CfO Cast from Original ROTJ Stormtrooper Helmet. To enter the draw simply send us an email to castfromoriginal@hotmail.co.uk with the header CfO ROTJ Free Prize Draw. The winner will be announced by CfO before the end of January, all decisions are final and will be decided by myself! Good luck. JoeR Ps: I have posted this a little late in the month, but there will be monthly draws throughout 2011.
  18. Amazing build Rolf. Your are a master of assembly. Joe
  19. So glad to hear this Rolfe. I have a 7 month old son and can understand how you feel about your boy. Congratulations! Joe
  20. This is great for the community, losing a supposed edge or some sort of superiority over others is why Paul et al are upset. Midnight and Paul, you both are old timers and both know that every TE 'deal' goes south, I am surprised you were silly enough to buy anything from him. Past deals that you both knew about prior to this as follows, GINO vs TE, AP/GF vs TE, FON vs TE, the list goes on and on. This was bound to happen at some point... Joe
  21. Interesting, like a lot of the stuff done on this film, it is not done that well. As mentioned above, some of the modern weathering looks so much better, I agree this would probably not look that good in person. But for us accuracy nuts it is a great resource. JoeR
