  1. Hi Guys and girls..... I know you lot aren't into the ROTJ TK stuff but it was used for the SE TD and thought some of you may find it an interesting read..... Jez has written a new review on my CFO JoeR ROTJ TK lid..... CfO Armor and Helmet Check it out and let me know what you think..... Your opinions count! Cheers!

  6. Hi guys, I thought you would like to see what I have been up to this week. I have been making Indiana Jones Golden idols for a couple of other forums and whilst I was at the Vac Metalizing company that did the original Idols and C3P0 coincidentally I thought why not get a TK lid chromed! Well it's not completely finished yet but you get the idea.... I haven't decided yet about decals.... What colour etc??? Or none at all?? What do you reckon?
  7. ooooohhhhh.......... That last one
  8. That's some serious space you have there! Much bigger than my flat. My daughter would be jealous of Sylvesters room....... Oh, and it's much tidier than mine too.......

  10. Here's a comparison next to a full size helmet....
  11. Hi, I thought it was about time to finish or at least start my Mini SFS Trooper helmet. I got this from the first run Carsten did a while back. Anyhoo, I wasn't really happy that the helmet came filled with expanded foam as I wanted to make a mini replica with green flat lenses and a piece of star foam etc as per the original used helmets. I managed to hollow out the foam then spent the afternoon today sanding the inside as it was quite thick resin and as I am cutting the eyes out I wanted it to be more like it was vac formed than cast.I also cut the teeth out which was a bit scary and I used a very small drill bit and a file..... So without further ado here's where I'm at so far...... I still have a way to go yet and after priming I can see the bubbles that need to be filled better.....
  12. Wow thanks chaps. They should help. I've ordered a pauldron from Trooper 1 but I'm nit sure if it will be the same now I've seen those pics?
  13. Some cool info guys...... Thanks!
  14. Should be fun, I've noticed that the SE TDs only seemed to have black Pauldrons is that correct. I always like the orange but if it's got to be black to be correct then so be it. Who does the best pauldrons for the job? I've seen some nice looking ones on the bay by mypropcollection?
  15. Hi Guys, As some of you know I make ROTJ TK armour and thought I should really put together a SE TD. So I am! What I need from you guys is as much help as I can muster to make this a thing of ugly beauty. I have some MP40 pouches and paints, weathering bits and bobs.......what else do I need? I could do with some reference if anyone has any? I'm a bit of a TD newb so please fell sympathetic to the cause........ Cheers guys.... P.S not sure if this in the right section so mods, feel free to move it to wherever it should be......

  20. I'm not sure if this is in the right department so please move it to where appropriate if not. Hi guys and gals, Just thought I would share my excitement of CFO ROTJ armour featured on starwarshelmets.com...... Jez has done us proud and it's fantastic to see our armour and helmets on a site that I have used for so many years. It's not a sandy but it is weathered to look screen used on Endor. THANK YOU JEZ!!! Enjoy. http://www.starwarsh...rmor_Helmet.htm
  21. Thanks Rolf, You are a gentlemen and a scholar.........I have always admired your assembly and weathering skills, so it means a lot coming from you.
