ECOLI
I have heard nothing but great things and how sturdy these replicas are. I was looking at investing in one after my T-21 build has kinda come to a close or waiting till one pops up on the boards, but was curious as to what they are made out of resin, metal, wood? Any, advice would help. Thanks
pandatrooper
They are cast from real deactivated weapons. A hard custom mixed rubber outer material, filled with foam to reduce the weight, and the inside often has fiberglass / carbon rods to provide internal rigidity and strength. They can be purchased painted plain black or weathered.
FIVE
The only two things I'd consider "downsides" to them is 1) they don't come apart — with bigger guns that's nice... and 2) you can't put lights or sounds in them if you want. If one of those is a deal breaker then so be it... but other than that they are totally awesome! I love, love, love, love my E-11 and hope to have a T-21 someday as well. ground pounder
I have a DLT-19 and it is a great piece of work. Very detailed and the paint job looks fantastic. I always get compliments on it when I troop. Well worth it in my opinion.
woodman
I have a T-21 Hyperfirm and it really is an awesome casting every single detail is there. They are kind of like tire rubber. Lewis' service is second to none. Woody

Zon
I've got A DLT-19 as well as An E-11 and love them both. I wouldn't change anything about the way they're made.
TD0923
Definitely ,at least, an E-11 is a must. I own most of the Star Wars guns Lewis has done. Still need that publicity ESB pistol that I missed out on. Excellent for trooping, in my opinion.
Daetrin
The best part is not worrying about dropping them. You can certainly drill them out I guess for electronics, but it's not for the faint of heart.
Scarbucket
I am not going to go on and on about my HF T-21 (I have gushed about it many times-AWESOME!!!) The HF DLT-19 is much lighter than the T-21. The T-21 can also be easily transported in a small ski bag (thanks to Skutch for the idea!) Vadersblade
I have the newer HF DLT-19. It is fantastic. Very light weight, durable, and detailed. Best money I ever spent on a prop!
