Looking good Ken....remember dirty....not filfthy and try to think of how it would look standing in the wind as sand would get into th cracks. I've actually changed my weathering approach based on the color of sand you see in the film. It has it's dark spots but primarily done in a lighter color tone. Keep up the great work bro :)

Its a good start...

I would rub/sand off a little bit here and there... You want an organic natural look and patterns compared to a painted pattern.

The textures is already looking good.

You could use a bit less, IMO. But weathering is personal

Also, what rick said is right... try to aim to more earth-ish colors. Sand on film is lighter. With less red/magenta if you will.

But all around, I think you are in the right pad bro.

Saludos.

Yeah... looking good! :duim:

The suggestions my guys have given are great. You've got a good base, now rub it all off so it stays in the cracks, then put it all on again, and after 2 or 3 times of that you're gonna start seeing it look REAL. B)

Yeah, that's what I did... literally tried to clean it... but not RUBBING it hard so you're hitting high points and missing crevasses.

And anything "earth" colored.

I think my weathering post has the colors I used... I can look for it later... I'm "at work" (real work) B)
