Quartermaster Posted June 25, 2010 Share Posted June 25, 2010 Well, I finally got around to fixing my shoulder straps. Picked up a new set from Rob Kittel, aka TK7143 on the 501st boards. had to remove the old straps that were rivited to the top of the armor. Used small amount of bondo to fill in the holes, sanded and painted just the top portions of the armor tabs. Blended in some weathering over the new paint and Voila! You would never know there were holes there before. Used some spare ABS strips as a backing in the tab area and attached snaps. The center snap which is hidden inside the canvas strap will be for attaching the shoulder bells. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
