TD-1536
Hello! Excellent effort trooper... however, I'm afraid the FX helmet and "Studio Creations" style back pack are not acceptable for MEPD Deployment.

td7603
if im not mistaken, you don't need a backpack any longer. I would suggest a TE2, ANH2, or similar helmet. cant see your ab plate... can you take a closer picture?
theGreatSot
if im not mistaken, you don't need a backpack any longer. cant see your ab plate... can you take a closer picture? Unfortunately, you do need a semi-screen accurate backpack for deployment. Our Requirements page states: "- Desert Backpack, styled after the ANH sandtrooper packs. They are comprised of two main boxes (aka Seed Trays), that are the approximate width of the backplate, correct bend on frame. Strict screen accuracy is required! While not every Sandtrooper in the film had a backpack, we feel that this level of commitment and overall design of the character should be attained." It also looked like you've still got shoulder straps as well, and as Jay said, we need a pic of your ab plate to verify that you've made the ab modification. td7603
the shoulder straps are an easy mod and takes about 5 minutes. get some leather or thick white nylon webbing, or paint some, and dye or paint the leather and rivet in place, or snaps or velcro. and BAM....done. DirtyBoy
packs are pretty easy too....they can be built for about 75.00 and done in about 6hrs. they are not as good as the crashmann ones but using readily available items you could do no problem. i think its important to build your own...someone said it was like a right of passage. anyway....if you need any help we are all here to lend a hand. TD-443
RICO, I think your pack is salvageable, here's what I would do: 1. Remove the hoses. 2. Remove the index card holder on the side 3. Remove the cassette holder 4. Remove radio and build a more accurate one. 5. Paint can in middle and put the small "jello" bowl on top of it 6. Build or buy the syphone part Also 1. Remove e-11 holster 2. get side pouches 3. replace fx, a modified mrce is a good alternative If you need more help or questions on where to get items send me a pm

Dont give up....a few minor adjustments and a little bit of time you can get deployed.
