boba
Hi whats the prefered way to mount the lid on the TD? The lid has a neck with a flat at the end of it where it attaches to the TD. Do you remove the flat and mount it so the neck juts the disk out? or Do you remove the falt and the neck so the disk shape touches the TD shaft? thanks
Marcel
HI mate, I did as you said above. I pulled off the rippled part of the inner tupper wear lid then cut off the neck of the outer lid. Painted this part black oside silver inside, then using a disk of abs rivited through the disk and lid into down pipe and put a washer on the back before snapping off the rivit. Then just clipped the rippled inner lid back on. I did like Leigh Lewis did and have the down pipe splotted on big headed bolts so it can be taken off if needed easily Marcel

Prophet
The disk shape or pitcher lid should not directly touch the TD or "morter tube"... Leave the neck piece, and mount it to the tube. Most use a long bolt that will pass through the center of the lid and the neck piece then into the tube. Attach a washer and nut on the inside of the tube and that should do it.
