5. Very nice Hal!!! Tell us more about that main dial?..
6. Honestly, I just eyeballed it. The flashlight was 3/4 inch OD
7. An easy and cheap fix is to use a small "maglight" style flashlight. There black and they have the right machined grip look to them. Cut off the top with a pipe cutter. Mount the flashlight base, were the batteries go in flush to the gun. Youre going to want the base counter sunk into the gun and glued in with E-6000. Then just screw the flashlight body minus the guts and bulb assembly. I hope that helps!
8. Looks great! Keep us posted on your progress.

11. Thanks everyone! I had a great time building it and I learned alot! Building from scratch may not be "screen acurate", but it sure is fun to try and get it as close as possible with just what you find along the way! BTW Thanks to TK-409 for the inspiration.
12. Mr. Peers, I thank you and salute you Sir!!!!!!!!!
13. This pack was made by me and everything but the boyscout frame and the tupperware lid are made from scratch items! I made it with tooping in mind so it is either bolted or rivited together, I tried to include details from all five backpacks seen in (ANH) including the SE version. It can be worn in both "Standard" or "Marmit" style. I removed the straps so I could reuse them on my next pack build. So hear is my first TD backpack, [[/img] I'm now in the middle of making my new pack thanks to Crashmann's great kit, Thanks for looking! BTW, I no longer own this pack...
14. "From My Cold Dead Hands!!!" But really , sorry to hear about this! Just think how many bad things happened while they were waisting time on this?
15. Thank You !!! Hey Pappy , I won this from the "bay" as pictured! The former owner did a great job making the the base gun nice and solid by filling it with a piece of PVC surrounded by some type of plastic! here are some pics of what I started with, [img

19. OK, so I've decided to convert my Cushmann DLT-19 vac formed "barrel shroud/T track combo" to a two part "inner barrel/barrel shroud'' with real T tracks. My question is what's the diameter of a real MG-34's barrel shroud, the part with all the holes in it I was under the impression it was 1 1/4 inches or possibly 1 1/2 inches but both seem too big? Help Please!
