  1. Helps a lot actually! The Syphon is one i got from Bojangles, cut the square box off, and attached the hamburger stackers to a paula deen prep bowl from walmart. Then bondo'd the heck out of it.
  2. Well after working on this for about 3 months, i finally have my backpack to a wearable condition. I still need to get a few things for it. But i will be breaking this puppy out tomorrow at the Air Museum and this weekend down in Tally. Check out those fancy shoes. Now all i need to get is the left side tube, the Stinger, the top left tube configuration, & tape off the Dial area so it appears correct. The pack i was copying... The pack on the right
  3. I probably should have been taking pictures of this from the start to document it, but i didn't, so here is what i have so far. This radio for the pack was offerd by another member. I picked it up with the intention of using parts i scavenged from another radio to make it look closer to the movie version. I replaced the main dial, both toggle switches, and added the earphone jacks to the right side. The original had the shoulder strap mounting points along the top, so i epoxied to strap adjusters to get the look. I also took the radio speaker grill off the old radio, & cut it down to the 4" diameter needed to fit into the faceplate of this one. Dremeling out the existing speaker grill, i epoxied the new grill in, and drill fully thru the hole in the outer ring. So far it looks like this. I am next planning to dremel out the dial face, (which is a sticker on this one) and insert from the inside a glass, or plexiglass plate, with a dial behind it. That's what i have so far...
