Sandy is still stuck at 90% - just the back pack to assemble really. But I have been really busy trying to get my painting career moving, and its been going ok! And finally I've had time to paint what I want - a life size Sandy! This picture doesnt really give it justice due to its size, nor show the texture of the paint which is 1cm thick in places. Theres a couple of closer up shots on www.pauloz.co.uk Thought I'd post it here for the opinions of those in the know! This will take centre stage at a 'Screen Icons' show I'm planning with a Birmingham UK gallery for the summer....... you never know..... the TD may be wandering around the gallery at the launch too..... Personally, I think it worked better than the TD! Really thick paint once again - the nose and visor are actually protruding from the board.
