Short TRooper
Did you use fullers earth or anything like that on it? I have some Eco earth here for my frog bedding and it's like a reddish brown color, and it's like a very, very fine peat moss....would that be allowed? If not, can you use regular dirt or real sand? Where can you get "Fullers" earth? Short Trooper (Diana)

TK-8290
Your armor looks mean! Very interesting way to hang the pack, bro. I like your ideas. I might incorporate that into my next TD build. I am going to retire my current armor and build a new kit. I have the bucket now and have almost completed the cutting and sanding phases. vandal116
So did you seal the eyeshadow to your armor to prevent rub off? If so, what did you use? Thinking about doing this to my armor and was putzing around with the hand plates last night.
slave1pilot
Vandal, you ol' necro-poster you. I thought this thread had died in the last 8 years LOL. but,to answer your question, no. I used acrylic craft paint and just let it dry. Yes, sections wear off and I think it looks better when it does. Much more natural than airbrushed weathering IMHO. BTW- I think I sold that costume less than a year later due to some bad financial issues.
