  1. Good to hear from you Jim. Yep, you found the guy who made my helmet, so I contacted him after you gave me the info and here it is As for the installation of fans... you bet! I am at that phase now, so your engeneering skills will be awesome. PM me your phone at interlinkindustries@yahoo.com and we can schedule getting together. Send me the info about the event as well. i think I should be available. I will take out my old armor though because the new armor will not be completed by that time. See ya, bro TD-8290
  2. Hello guys. Here is the finished product of my new bucket. I have retired my old Kev's 2.0 and have sanded, drilled and dremmiled this one. It was fun and is a great bucket. Painting was a series of layers of white paint which will be weathered in a few days. I have raised the eyebrow just enough to give it the santrooper look, but not the "move along trooper" look. I kind of tried to give it the "Look sir, Droids" look... This is the pic for refrence: This is the link to see it in High def. http://www.looksirdroids.com/hd_caps/pages...oper_hd_038.htm Let me know what ya'all think
  3. RGR that, bro. If your book is in paperback, I want one. Once again, very nice work.
  4. Very cool, bro. Your story is awsome. I have chapters 1 to 10 right now. can I get the rest?
  5. Very nice, bro. I am still interested in your TD kit. Seems the brother who wanted to sell his never contacted back. PM me if you have one for me bro. A' dios, from Texas
  6. Your armor looks mean! Very interesting way to hang the pack, bro. I like your ideas. I might incorporate that into my next TD build. I am going to retire my current armor and build a new kit. I have the bucket now and have almost completed the cutting and sanding phases.
  7. RGR that. The standard that I have noticed amoung TD's are black HOVI tips. The screen and inside of the mic tips have mostly been black that I have seen. I know I am puting together a new TD bucket, and I am using all black HOVI's.
  8. Super pics. I will try to make it next year with my TD. Even though I am in the N. Texas squad of the Star garrison, I would love to join the Florida gang at the next Disney gig.
  9. I like the site. Can you pm me to discuss more about it. interlinkindustries@yahoo.com Thanks TD-8290
  10. And a brotherhood it is. I tell ya'all, this is the best armor in the legion. I really appreciate all of your words of encouragement. Just to show you how much the Sandtrooper is loved, I recently had a Monk take his first step toward the "dark Side"...LOL This is a REAL Monk! My wife is Thai, and she had the monks over for some kind of ceremony. This monk saw the pics of my sandy and fell in love... Well, he couldn't resist trying on the bucket, and how knows.... Cheers!
  11. We were all having fun trooping for the people of Dallas, TX. While it was a small neighborhood troop, there were a ton of people and floats in the parade. I was surprised at how many people were out there and how well accepted we were. Some people came up and said that we were the best part of the parade.... I like those people...LOL Here are a few pics... I am the Sandtrooper, of course ;-) enjoy
  12. OOOhhhhhh Yeaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!! I am SSSSOOOOO stoked about this, you can't believe it. Not to sound like I have been living and breathing to savor this moment, but it is... PARTY TIME!!!!!!
  13. WOW! I thought I had a lot of buckets. Well, I do; 14 to be exact, but yours are awesome. ...Just when you think no one else out there has the fever; there comes one who renews your faith. Yes; forever will it dominate your destiny... LOL Very nice collection.
  14. Very nice work, brother. The first 10 chapters have been downloaded. THe first chapter was enough to put the hook in me and now I have to read it all. Thanks again, brilliant work.
  15. That is some nice looking weathering.

  17. Yep! Nice job, bro. I can only say this is a lobor of love... I am trailing behind you and should have my backpack finished soon. I also had to redo my backpack and fix some areas of my Sandy's armor. Well, it take s time, but it is worth it in the end, and your armor and backpack show it... good job. I will hopefully be there with the ranks soon.
  18. Hey Scootch, what are the type/size seed trays for the bottom?
  19. You will have no problem, bro. Keep us updated.
  20. Nice armor and backpack, bro. Like your weathering.
  21. Will a standard military ruck frame work?
  22. Now that is a thing of beauty! I am sure you are one happy trooper.
  23. That is a great build, Juan. Great job!
  24. Man, those are great pics of some awsome times... This is truely the MEPD style. For instance, I met Chaz Garrett (TD-3933) at the All-Con in Dallas Texas a few weeks ago as a TK, and we started talking about his TD armor and the FISD and MEPD. Well, we got to talking about how he put his TD armor together and his painting techniques, and eventually he told me he had some TD armor that he was selling. He asked if I wanted to buy it; I of course told him the kit was sold...lol TD-3933 actually drove three hours on his day off to bring the kit to me and help me with getting the kit right. I mean this guy was actually concerned that the stuff was right and that I was good enough to get deployed.... how cool is that. This kind of brotherhood exists here at the MEPD like no other. Keep it going.
  25. Perfect. Thanks for the gem. I am going to buy some glue.... be right back!
