...I had the pleasure of being given the task to make a Field Pack for Diana (Short TRooper)...build took a little longer then expected due to the distance between the shop and home...JB did an amazing job making a smaller Radio Box for me to use along with our MDK pack parts...

...we did retain the normal sized tool box so that she could convert it into a storage container...

...I would have to say that this pack is approximately 20% smaller then mine...hopefully it will help her in her quest to become deplyed :)

...here are pics side by side with my current pack...

...thank you everyone...

...Guns your is up next on the to do list...just waiting for the seed trays :)

...I am always up for making packs but the cost is sometimes a deterent for people...

...I opted to do this one for Diana since she was in need of a smaller pack...with some luck I found smaller seed trays and was able to manipulate the scout frame to fit the smaller trays...make the exhaust tube shorter in height...retained the normal MDK pack parts which I feel are more slim in design then real world parts...hehehe...was able to actually use the jello cups

Thanks again everyone

Lewis :)

...LoL...nah your stuff is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy beyond what I have been able to do...

...maybe we should start a Chain of Sandtrooper stores???...what do you think???...sponsored by Coke B)

Thanks for your kind words bro.

Normal i´m just a buyer, not a maker.

I do the pauldron run now, find vintage back pack parts here and there on ebay.

Assemble and build packs, armors etc.

But i have never been trying, to vacum form something.

Or trying to recast, or make molds.

One member from my garrison, have a vacum table.

He buy it for about 2 years ago, but he have never used ud yet.

Maybe one day, we could make a few parts here and there...

Most of the parts looks good on my mh/sb pack, but i have been looking on a few of the items.

I maybe, will like to do a bit differently.

Here you see the my MH/SB pack.

(I have used the siphon item on it)

Maybe the radio box need a bit one details, in the round area.

Maybe the mushrooms, need to be a bit more flat like.

The antenna box, need to be a bit longer.

The canister side item, on the tube need to have a dot down, not up.

Just a few things, i might chance.

The MH/SB back pack, is one of the best kits i have seen out there.

And a out standing job well done.

I just got my eyes, and can´t make molds or nothing yet.

Maybe one day...

Good luck whit your run bro.

Your stuff, looks fantastic!!!.

Great product, in strong abs and very accurate as well.

What do we need more.

I love, there there is more then one supplier out there.

We can never have enough choices, to where to buy and from what maker etc.

As long as it not a recast, but a new mold/maker.

I give it a big warm hug from here.

Can´t wait to see more from you, your items are all ways eye candy.

Cheers buddy :)

:blink::):):)

WOW!!!!

That is a fantastic job you did!!!!

I am so happy that that came out so well...I was a bit worried that it would look a bit out of proportioned but these pics put my fears to rest...

Now my one question is....what kind of strapping material do you guys use or reccomend for making the straps and where do you get the right kind of buckles for it?

Also how do you put the straps on?

i have some foam to put on the back of it so it won't mark up my armor and put pressure on my back.

I have been working on fixing my armor and a member here told me on how to make the front of my chest armor a bit smaller so it looks better and more to my size..

I hope to be a member of the 501st soon and then deployed here by Christmas! I would be a happy camper on that Christmas present!

A huge thank you to Lewis for doing this for me...words cannot express my thanks!!!!

I GOT IT!!!!!!

YES!!!

Thank you Lewis for a great back pack...

I just wish I had my camera working right now to take a pic of it.....

Now I just need to work on my armor and get it done and try this bugger on....

Even my kids were impressesd and they arent really Star Wars fans...

Now I have to get some straps going for this gadget..any one got any pics on h ow to put a strap system on the frame...plus how do you wear this on or under the armor with the straps?

Now I have some stuff here I had bought to make my pack with stuff is wayyyy too big for me....If any one needs some pack stuff I am hoping to put pics on here of it asap..

I will post the stuff for sale soon in the wtb or the fs threads.

  • 3 weeks later...

Ok I do have a question......How and what do I use to "dirty" the back pack?

What is the BEST thing to use and what should I NOT use on it.

I did find some straps here at the Wal-Mart and am going to try and putt hem on the pack ..but I also need to know how you fasten the straps on...so you use snaps. glue them around the piping on the frame or sew it on there or velcro it?

THanks!
