Rolf
Most of us got the french one also, but yours has gotten the metal dot on it.. Many of the french pouches, do have the metal dot in them. I think the black dyed ones have, the browns don´t. (i have got both) Here you see a older picture, of my collection. They also have, the metal dot in them . Rolf
im pretty sure all of those is very2 hard to find here...**** care to share some measurements? or anyone already done that somewhere? ok back to the topic..... All found on ebay. the ww2 mp40 are repo at about 40$ for a set. The ww2 wien stolla pouch, are very rare and expensive as well at around 100$ each. The ww2 big map freach pouch is cheap from around 10$ each, looks real nice. But are not the ones used in ANH. The small ww2 spanish pouches are very rare too, and swing in $ each. I got mine okay cheap, at around 10$ each. Just search under ww2 german pouch, or ww2 pouches. Cheers .

bountyone
Wow... just when I thought we'd not see anymore rare photos. GREAT example of weathering... all though, a bit over the top by what we consider "weathered" today. That's why I'm a little confused here. if were not supposed to go "over the top" is it really that frowned upon? the screen shot photos clearly look over the top to me so that's what I did with my suit. is this still okay? I'll post pics of my suit soon when I get my my pack and blaster any day now. Thanks.

Well, the level of weathering just in this one picture is more than what we see on the troops when they're in Mos Eisley. Obviously "over the top" is subjective, but over the years there have been Legion members who've easily exceeded anything seen in the films. That's what I would refer to as "over the top". The_Trooper
Well weathering is a personal taste, some people like it minimal and some more heavier. If you are satisfied and have a good felling with it its oke in my opinion, ok some are not "accurate" weatherd and some are. It al depends on taste. Anything more IMHO is indeed over the top ;-)

TD-5491
I think it looks cool just the way it is as well. Mine is about the same and I thought about taking it down a tone but I get way more attention compaired to the clean troopers in my squad so I'm keeping mine as dirty as I can Dirty Troopers get more lovin, especially at Mardi Gras Here's a pic of me at the midnight madness troop at TRU, you can kinda see I thought mine to be too dark. I'm 5'10 and 185 ilb so you can get the scale. My cushman is also missing a strap. I see now after more research that I used too much of the burnt Umber (I think) and most troopers in the movie are more dirty from the feet up to hardly any dirt on the helmet, looks more like chips and other colors but **** I'l colored blind so I may be way off I know one thing, the most said comment to me is nothing but praise and how I look more real to them because of the weathering. I also get asked if the metal armor is heavy

Public like me because of my height 6'5"..kids are just WOW and beside themselves and the weathering shows better detail than the white shiney TKs ,,,and being an attention tart never hurts either Oddest thing that happens when i take a break, bucket off, away from the troop, coffee n a smoke,,,people WANT pics of me just like that,,,trooper taking a smoko break....i love it Anyone who wants an autographed Trading Card just pm me your details and ill send em over cheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeers
