Finished GF Hero helmet

i thought i´d share another finished helmet of my collection.

this is a early GF helmet which reached me in a quite bad condition a year ago.

there were small dints and tons of scratches all over the face plate and the dome.

i got it for a fair price so it was ok for me, but i decided to completly rework this helmet.

The GF still is one of my favorite HERO helmet, i think the overall look is superb and absolutly near to accurate compared to screencaps.

i started filling the dents with filler, sanded and filled even more using rattle can spray filler.

after that i sprayed the helmet with various layers of Rustoleum spray paint.

the details were done by using GundamZeppelin´s great TK stickers from the run last year.

the ears and frown was handpainted using Humbrol #5 and Revell black paints...

NOW, it´s done, here it is...

it was a lot of fun building this hero helmet, but i think i will stick to the stunt helmets...

BTW.: i can´t wait for GundamZeppelins new ESB stickers... there is another raw helmet waiting to become a ESB Stormtrooper helmet.
