there is a connection between FX and GF stuff. Some FX helmets were even signed by GF! It explains why the mic tips are the same. I am pretty sure you have a GF armor and helmet as the cap n back tells what I expected! Marcus

they are very similar in my opinion and look way more accuarte then hoses on a tube. The top and bottom needs to be taken off and they can be cutted. I did not say this are the ones they used in the movie I only asked if someone have found the correct ones and gave a direction! Hoses on a tube is not a solution to me.

well the filter I showed here is not correct. But the hoses are inaccurate as well. I just found this which is similar but too long. Anyway I saw some people who used houses and glued them on a pipe but this can be better! Maybe someone finds the right version of the filter. looks like I have to go down on this level and say one thing. It just depends on your ego Gino, to be jealous on recasters that they had an easier way. All your other reasons are only words to talk around it. You have the right to be jealous but it shows what kind of a person you are. You don't want to see another person able to make what you make. Even if I would scratchbuild an armor for example and don't want to make much profit like you why should I care if someone recasts it? It's just the own ego. If I only want to make it available for all of us and beeing a nice guy I would not care. If I want to make profit or beeing famous that would be a reason!

congratz to your spanish ones I believe the screen used mp4o pouches were out of leather. I got the leather version but I miss the little pouch on it

I got one of the little pouches from Te. I think it was last year. Also I got further 2 of them from ebay and they are the same. Watch out for spanish pouches! I also found one of them with a "Reichsadler" ( WW2-Symbol )on it but I was not able to get it. The spanish ones doesn't have the ww2 symbol but look accurate in shape and I don't know if the screen used ones had a ww2 symbol. I make pics soon Marcus

I agree! I am sure there are many recasters having an account on all the forums out there and they just don't had an outing. I think you don't lose your credibility if you let decide the members of the mepd what should happen now and not only do what is written anywhere as a rule. This case is different because it has nothing to do with a further moneymaker! Chris is my best friend here and a friend of many others on the mepd. Also he was a supporter of the mepd. You can do what ever you want but if you think on your credibility then keep in mind you have the right to unban him and the right to have your own opinion and how to act! And we have the right to tell you please change the decision because Chris should be further a part of all of us. The MEPD is the best place of all and I hope you are not bannig him only because you are thinking what other boards might think if you leave it like it is. I agree the pouches are similar to the norwegian ones but weren't the film used ones not a bit longer? Possibly someone told us they always used stollas because there was one used which is definitely a Stolla but different. Maybe they reproduced the stollas which were as easiest to make and the result were pouches that can't be squared because they never had magazines in it. ( sorry for language ...early in the morning here in germany ;P ) Marcus

I have some stollas also. I think in the pics of your link it just looks rounded due to the bad image quality. Have you another pic?

I agree its a seperate part of the helmet because its to much undercuts for a vac formed one. What I mean with similarity is the little bump in the middle of the nipple on the close up here to the big ones in the earlier posted pic. Also in this angle of view it looks impossible to be part of the face because it should be warped behind the hovi mic. no backgrounds?

Hi mates I noticed these nipples a long time ago and never found out why they were only present on this helmets and not on so many others I've seen. They are very big in relation to the whole helmet but I think they have a similarity to the original smaller nipples that can be seen on close ups of the hovi mic interiors. As I got a hovi mic set from Keith I was wondering if the nipples were originally a result of a vac formed unit with the faceplate or just an attachment. I dont know of the hdpe properties but I can imagine if a hovi mic was set on top of that big nipple it possibly squeezed due to its flexibility and held in place. Thats just an idea and normally I would say they all were attached with screws but I am not really sure. Can Keith or someone else explain more or give more ideas? It was possibly cleared in an earlier thread and if I am totally wrong its no problem Maybe someone knows more... Marcus

Thats funny Rocko I got exactly the same mannequin from ebay. Have you any idea how to put the thigh piece of the armor on the thigh itself where the stand is inserted? Its not looking very good when the thigh piece cant be closed and I dont want to damage it. Marcus
