Jack_bauer
Interesting questions: 1. Do you have an estimate time of completion? 2. Will this pack be done thru "runs" or by requests (I know vacuuforming is not a joke either and takes time). I.E. You'll do a run or two, and you won't do them anymore, or you'll continue to make them after the runs regardless? I have no rush, of course, due that I have other projects in progress, but to have a "mental calendar" of what to expect to invest later on. Robert BH/TK/TB 060 Estimated time is end of this month. At this time we plan on doing one big run and one small run then thats it.

SandtrooperScout
Do we have a price estimate yet? Even a ballpark figure. That might help some of us decide if we're able....
TK-6829
Hmm.. A price estimate would be nice. I'd also like to know if the kit will come assembled. I'm not too good putting stuff together.
Jack_bauer
the instructions for assembly will be quite easy and well written. Assembling it would mean extra time and a HUGE box. Ballpark price will be figured soon. Some of the parts are cast in Hyperfirm rubber. (not cheap) an this puppy is over 70 pats, molded or vacuuformed probably 300$-ish. the first run of course having a nice discount.
TD9009
Your work is AMAZING!!! I need one! I want one! I dream one!... I really need one of your backpacks, when ready. (maybe more... I have to ask to Italian garrison sandtroopers) Please let me know when You are ready to sell these. One question: - what do you want to use as "main-frame" for the backpack elements? hpdblues
But... but... That thread doesn't exist! I'm certainly not one to give up the faith however, it appears that Sci-fire may no longer be a viable resource for sandtroopers and stormtroopers alike... hpdblues
FYI; Sci-fire cancelled the pack project last year. Hey guys, The MDK project is dead. The individual who was leading the project bailed out and sold the majority of the formed parts in an attempt to recover some of his investment. The status of the company formerly known as "Sci-fire" is also in doubt. I've been trying to contact John BUSH in an attempt to resolve a dispute over an Ebay auction for one of our troopers...however, he has failed to respond to me about it and I haven't heard anything more from the guy who supposedly took over the "sales" portion of the company. T ePS: Funny twist to this story, I had offered to purchase the project outright in an attempt to keep it alive...
