  1. Does anyone have a pic of where they put the "phone cord" detail? I think it goes on the left side by the barrel, but I was looking to see if anyone else has done it and has a reference pic to share. Thanks!
  2. Sweetness! Thanks Brother!
  3. That would be awesome, thanks! I'll PM you my address. Just let me know what I owe you. Thanks, mate!
  4. Sorry to resurrect a dead thread...but does anyone have a length of the black ABS from Lowes they'd be willing to part with? After checking online, none of the Lowes stores in my area carry this stuff. Thanks!
  5. Does anyone have some of the extra drain tubing they used for the ribbed section? The stuff I've found here locally is all 4" and way too big.
  6. Speaking of.....can anyone tell me how much/long a piece I need? 6 inches? 8?
  7. No, its cool. They're valid points, and I really hope not the case. But I'm loving it and cant wait to finish it! Already scoping Enfield slings on Ebay and bought the drain tubing from Home Depot today.
  8. Thank you for your kind and generous offers, lol, but I made the mistake of parting with my MG-34 and dont plan to make that mistake again!
  9. Well I may take by my earlier doubt. Going to the SciFire site, I was able to "match up" the major dings in the stock of mine with the pics of their pull. So I'm thinking I may well have a hyperfirm! Schwing!
  10. Nope. Not that I can see. The only markings on it are whatever transferred over in the pull. Some stamping on the receiver and sight, nicks and dings in the wood, etc. I dont think its a HF. I had one their MG-34s and its not the same material. It's just a hair or two softer.
  11. Greetings Troopers. I'm re-doing my TD this year, and came across this T-21 at a local con this weekend. I snatched it up as the guy was only asking $50 for it. I have no idea of its lineage, but its definitely a foam rubber of some kind. It has some give to it, and is super light. Any one have any idea maybe? My second question is this: What is it missing? I know its missing the wrapped section at the beginning of the barrel, and the sling. But beyond that, I'm not finding too much missing.
  12. Thanks Guns! That's just what I did. Now, does anyone have the measurements of the box that goes over the receiver? I need to make me one of those. I found a nice greeblie already for the handle, and of course know where I can get t-track for the barrel.
  13. Great! Thanks! And I've found out the seller is 501st out of the Star Garrison, so I'm confident it's one of yours. Have to say I love it! Just wish now I had the $$ to get in on the MG-15. That was my first BFG.
  14. I purchased an MG-34 off the 'bay this month. It was advertised as a Hyperfirm. Seller is Bactareality. Now, while I guess I can't say 100% its a real Hyperfirm, I'm not disappointed and I'm happy with it. My question is this. What glue would I use to fix something on it? Once of the connections between the barrel and the bipod has a small tear in it: I intend to leave the bipod on and was wanting to fix that up. Thanks Troopers!
  15. Hey guys. I've been out of the sandbox for nearly 2 years now and a lot has changed since then. I'm gearing up this year to redo my TD and pass on my current one to the wife. I've currently got one of the packs TD8733 made back in early '07. I will be passing that on as well, and want to make a new one. So I was wondering....since so many of the pack parts now seem to be id'd or replicated, if anyone has made a list of the parts needed and where or who to go to get them? A "Master List" so to speak could go a long way towards helping the future new TD's find their way, and believe me, having been gone so long, I really feel like a noob again! Thanks, troopers!
  16. It's been a long time since I've been around, and I started to miss the sandbox, so I'm coming back with hopes of redoing my TD. I know I'm in the right place here! I was looking around the respective threads some and wasnt find what I was looking for right off, so I'm just wondering if anyone makes the ab plates or pack kits anymore? A pm answer is fine! Thanks for help, my dirty bros. Its good to be back home.
  17. Used to have access as well, requesing access again. TD-751.
  18. That is just beautiful. Gonna have to start selling kidneys or something now...
  19. Well then here's to next time! Hopefully we'll both manage to get our TD's to wherever they need to be and join the fun! Maybe raise a pint or two afterwards, too!
  20. Yup, that is me! Heh. It was good to get the chance to meet you and Mrs. Guns, and everyone else there. Thanks for the warm welcome back, it's good to be home.
  21. Long time no post, I know. After taking a long, but needed hiatus to recharge the batteries and interest, I'm back...for lack of a better term, heh. Last time I got to meet any of you was C4..me being the poor SOB that didnt have enough room in the car for my TD and had to settle for my TB and get photoshopped out of all the pictures, lol. Plan on changing that next time around. Anways, good to be back, glad to be here. The best **** detachment in the legion.
  22. I'll be there, but unfortunately...not in TD. The logistics of packing have claimed their first victim. I just dont have the room for the TD armor, pack and BFG in the car. I have to leave the sandie and officer behind. I'll be at the picture in my TB however, so I'll at least stop by and say "Hi!"
