  1. a verbal transaction I had at school once went like this bully: If I had a knife, your face wouldnt be here me: If I had a double barrel shotgun, YOU wouldnt be here Why would a Sandtrooper want to poke a Jawa in the eye with a sword when he can blow the little junk-monkey away with his BFG?
  2. I've clashed with Gino before and frankly sometimes find his board persona way too much to bear, called him names under my breath while typing on many occasions but I would never, no matter how angry I was, send him a message such as that. Totally uncalled for. Posting it here is a bit whiney and tell tale but hey, maybe he is craving some sympathy for being ganged up on all the time. Its hard being Gino (cheeky wink mate) I was thinking about this recently, I actually think I'd get on with the Gino really well face to face. He's a passionate soul, wichever way you look at it and whoever he's upset for whatever reason it isnt that important or serious enough to be subjected to that nonesense. Is it? Lets ditch the hate kids. Lifes too short.
  3. Thats some pretty uncalled for nastiness right there. Reads like a few beers too many, talking loud and saying nothing, keyboard diarrhoea. Best to ignore it completely, dump it in the trash and cheer yourself up with this.... http://uk.news.yahoo.com/blog/editors_corn...op-comments-nav hope it makes you laugh, sorry for the tiny wee derailment. Thought you could do with a laugh (British humour but it should still work) peace
  4. Hey Nath, you sly old dog you. Going mucky at last. Kev, love your work, as usual. Rolf, http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=XIJqpIL6A-8 www.neutrinos.co.uk
  5. cheers guys, although the time has flown past for me it wasnt until I got back online and looked in on all the forums i usually frequent that i realised how much time I'd spent away. Everything has settled down nicely, the only down side to my new situation is the lack of man-cave/workshop space. I have all my tools, paints, glues, junk and everything else that comes with armour building (and we all know how much stuff we acrue over time) in boxes in my now very cramped office/spare/box room. Total downer to be honest. Mike, not being in a band is freaking me out. I've been actively playing music literally non stop since I was 16, thats over 20 years of playing if not every day (which it was, for the most part.) then at least twice a week. I havent touched my drums for three months and I'm starting to feel a bit aggressive How did you make the transition or do you still play regularly?
  6. Well I've been away for what seems like an age doing the life thing and frankly i'm glad to be back. I've been busy relocating to a new city for my job and it's taken far too long to get back online and actaully find the time to 'hang out'. Some of you may know I was in a pretty succesful band that also took up alot of my time but now alas, as I've moved, i've also had to leave the band. I suppose getting older i had to really think about what was more important, my day job or the music. I never thought i'd pick the day job but hey, thats what's been paying for the costumes. I was also given the role of GML for the UKGarrison, that alone takes up most of my online time but since I dont have to juggle work, band, and clearance i can devote some more time to my sandy brothers. It's great to see this place is still buzzing, with loads of new people and input. My first riveting read after logging in was the radio thread. truly awesome. Right, better go catch up with the latest.

  16. thats a great picture Rolf. You can clearly see how the main body parts were connected and also, check out how bendy and pliable the belt looks to be in the bottom right corner. I wonder what that was made of?

  18. Yob culture in Britain. That fella is known as a "Chav". He is major trouble. Had the college kids whooped him upside the head or dumped a garbage bin on his head he would have returned 20 minutes later with 10 ****** up chav mates and kicked the crap out of the dweebs and possibly smashed the house up to boot, stealing any valuables they could lay their hands on and the dweebs would forever be marked men on that particular housing estate. They made the right choice by not wading in. Its a major issue at the moment. Lawless gangs of drunk chavs deliberately provoking a response so they can "kick off". People are actually being killed regularly due to this type of behaviour.
  19. well the track record of any licensed StarWars stuff is pretty poor to date so why should this stuff be any different. I think the idea is to sell it as "the most brilliant StarWars stuff ever made" to the numpties who must buy everything licensed but wouldnt know accurate if it came up and bit them in the ****. We are a pretty tough crowd to please though. Maybe they'll surprise us but i would imagine they're told to sanitise any product to fit the needs of the many. We know wonky and asymetric is good but maybe the people producing it think it will effect sales if it isnt 'cleaned' up.
  20. Welcome aboard folks. Good to see you here Chuck. For those that dont know the Woodchuck, he makes a mean T-21
