Just another DLT-19 Hyperfirm build

Recommended Posts

I bought this years ago, but recently got around to doing all the mods such as the conical disk, feeder box, t-tracks and the wire that holds them on. The weathering is a combination of dry-brushing and a good three years of trooping.

Yeah, I thought the same... but I went off Brak's ref pictures here.

Hrm. OK Well, you did your homework, and did a good job at the weathering.

So how did you do the weathering on the box? It looks really great, like you scraped the paint off, for real. Is that how you did it, or did you do some other way?

Windsor & Newton liquid mask. Basically liquid latex. Really awesome stuff that goes on nice and easy.
