trooper1
Well,.... Agree with Beren and Mr. Hair. Only problem.. I don't think you have enough plastic left to shape them like the suggestion made. It's possible, especially if they are a little long. Mr. Hair's reference pics will be a big help.
Vf2112
Yeah I'm hoping this won't be required as there not really seen in cantina but although it's a lot of work it is possible Hoping to avoid it though it's wat stopped me applying straight away after deployment

Beren
Vince, we certainly don't want to discourage you, but the aim of SWAT is to get your armor to appear as though you just walked off the set. Even though there may be parts of your armor unseen in the cantina, we all research the other scenes to "fill in the blanks". SWAT is about setting the bar high and exceeding it. We are all here to help, even if the journey is challenging. Keep your chin up.
mr_hair
It might even be worth getting in touch with TM or RS & getting new thighs if need be.

trooper1
Vince, just draw the correction on with a pencil before cutting, then you can be sure they are where you need them to be!
SCRIBBLER
@ Vince...Excellent progress, Brother! You are definitely on your way with the goal firmly in sight. Again, please share notes with previous troopers who have been activated with this particular TD. Since they were already cleared, if they give you the green light on your pics before you post them here, you have a better chance of getting the thumbs up. We (Command Staff) will continue to help and guide you as much as we can during the process. But try to utilize the the assistance of your brothers who have already made SWAT. They are itching to help! ** As stated before, we always stress PATIENCE during this process as we pay more and more attention to fine tuning with each new SWAT applicant. The MEPD Senior Commanders and myself will give your armor / gear a full inspection and review. Some details may definitely be missed and re-checked, but we will try to catch them on every pass given until you are cleared and ready to join the Special Weapons & Tactics Team, Brother! ** Let's continue...MEPD SWAT OFFICER: APPLICATION REVIEW (PART 3)Name: Vince McGannLegion ID #: TD-21112Forum Name: Vf2112Garrison: Southern Cross** ANH SANDTROOPER SELECTED **: CANTINA CAPTAINI.) Top notch mod!Ok, here are a few more items of note after a continued review... 1.) Your thighs must have the top notches. *You might have to upgrade and replace these parts if you do not have enough plastic to complete the request. Although not seen, it is assumed Legion wide that this detail is on all the stunt TKs and TDs. Also, all the SWAT applicants before you have had this detail. 2.) White elastic material for the shoulder straps will now be required for SWAT. 3.) Try to 'mute' the shine of the pauldron a tad bit for a more matte looking finish. 4.) Need to match the size of the 'circle' detail on pauldron. Yours appears a little too big and not too defined. (weathering can use more detailing)5.) Weathering details still need a bit of work. You are close, but try to mirror the details a little more.6.) The rivet on your ab is very close in appearance, but would prefer you try to match the rivet in the references to achieve an even more accurate look. This can be done by putting in a new rivet or you can shape the existing detail a bit more (smoothing out edges/outer circle) and filling in the hole area (smaller hole) to match the references. *NOTE ** Just heads up, when you have met all the mod requests, we will need to see you suited up again showing all angles so we can have a clean polished looked at your overall setup. (i.e. Straightened waist pouches, accurately positioned pack on your back. ** **PENDING** B.) EXECUTIVE OFFICER:(Comments Pending) C.) COMMANDING OFFICER: (Comments Pending)III.) mr_hair
Great work on the thigh reshaping too. Your left thigh looks as though it could use a touch more dirt. There's a bit of a clean spot ;-)
trooper1
Hey looking good. Hate to ask this but must. How did you get approved with a 2 piece cod, lower abdomin armor? Just wondering because I thought it was supposed to be a one piece, the front. The back is 2 but the front one. Sorry, was just caught by surprise. If I am wrong someone let me know. Maybe things changed.

trooper1
Cheers guys Yeah I noticed that in pics too mr hair bit light on one thigh lol Never heard that about ab cod but mate Always though it was preference as it's never seen Hmm, I know when I built mine it was a must. I wanted to cut mine so I could wear it with my kilt, but was told I would not get deployed if so. So I purchased a second cod piece and cut just for those troops. I was just surprised to see one cut, haven't seen one for quite a long time.

Shoot, I have 5 others in out Garrison who would love to cut there's as I, but don't because of being told we couldn't, we don't. Well, your armor is looking great, just had a concern with the cut cod. Will see you in the SWAT unit soon I am sure.

DirtyBoy
Cod can't be cut according to 501st guidelines :/ ha to be a single piece. I know some troopers do it and it's definitely more comfortable but.....easy fix man.
Vf2112
Wow! No problem but seems strange when it's suppose to be screen accurate and it's something never seen ? trooper1
Sorry Vince, I thought so. It's actually in the legion CRL, that's why I got an extra cod and cut it for my Kilt at cons. Sorry man! Just details. Lol as we spoke in the PM. You'll be SWAT in no time! You will do it!
