Wiss7046
Do any troopers have any issues with sore backs from wearing a back pack? After about 3 hrs my lower back starts screaming. My shoulders are good, it's just my back.
Ciscotiger
Yea, old age does that to you. I take two advils after all troops. You may also try adding a chest strap to your shoulder harnesses. It'll relieve some pressure to the back.

Wiss7046
I forgot to mention I added a chest strap. I guess it's one of things you just have to suck it up.

iconoclasta_88
I wear a belt like those used to lift heavy objetcs. It helps a lot. Also, i think is not just the pack, but the having to stand up straight for too long that makes that tothe lower back. I also take advil after troops. Saludos. trooper1
Tips! 1-Yes chest strap definately helps. 2-Pad straps, that helps 3-Have massage therapist planned and lined up immediately after troop! 4-Go to Bar! And drink 2 death sticks. To relieve pain and prepare for next troop!
DirtyBoy
I switched to elastic straps and the flexibility provided a lot less strain on the shoulders and back...was almost like it wasn't even there. Only drawback was getting the right length of the straps
Wiss7046
Thanks for the advice. It looks like I have everything covered except the Advil. If anyone has any other tips that they use please let me know as my back would greatly appreciate it.

Wiss7046
Found a solution that also seems to work, 2 back supports. One directly above the other. My back does not ache anywhere near as much as it used to.
