pashnak
I know it's advised to use welder glass to conceal the eyes but what about the teeth area ? Do people put sonething behind them ? If so what is recommended ?
DirtyBoy
you can use screen or to be more accurate....use nothing
inglorious trooper
a lot of people put metal mesh behind the teeth so know one can see behind them when trooping, but if you want to go 100% accurate then leave them open as they were open in the film! pashnak
cool thanks guys. guess it also helps with ventilation
DEDEDEJr
What I like to do is instead of using mesh or wearing a balaclava, I put balaclava-like material (black elastic cotton) over my teeth instead. The results are pretty great

nick.black
You can get mesh from ebay for that. I think Trooperbay also has some. Nick
trooper1
Or your going to do mesh, go to a hardware store and buy a foot of vinyl screen for a door. Cheap and easy to install
DarthAloha
I say no screen... Not to be more screen accurate but so people see you smiling like a helmeted dope for photos instinctively during your first couple troops.
DirtyBoy
Lol...ya stick with the no screen bro. If you ever decide you want some I'll send it to you for free.
trooper1
Lol...ya stick with the no screen bro. If you ever decide you want some I'll send it to you for free. yeah! I have about 20' of it.... Lol will mail it to you in an envelope.. Now, myself. I like it in mine. Helps in hospital visits, to keep the magic happening. I dont want the child looking through my helmet. Remember in the movie the camera was back from the actor, not hugging and taking pictures. Can you imagine if Micky Mouse had part of his mesh missing and a child could see under the mask. Just an opinion, but that is why I put mine in when trooping. Daetrin
I say no screen... Not to be more screen accurate but so people see you smiling like a helmeted dope for photos instinctively during your first couple troops. Hahahahaha. Not accurate but I'll stick with the mesh. Helmet hair is bad enough and it's hot enough already w/o the balaclava.
iconoclasta_88
Yeah... I normally have the screen behing the teeth, only when I want to troop in an uber accurate configuration I leave it at home. Normally just at LFL events or very big cons. Saludos.
