Myollnir
My hope is to someday make SWAT. For the inside of my bucket, I was going to install the liner of what you would see on a construction hard hat, with the adjustable strap, ect. I know in the movies they used foam, but I had this hat lying around, so it's free for me. Would that keep me from being in SWAT since it's not movie accurate, or what goes on on the inside not matter? Thanks!
iconoclasta_88
That would not keep you from swat deployment. On the other hand? What bucket do you have? Most anh buckets are not big enough to support a construction hat liner, unless you have a smaller sized head. Just make sure it will fit before installing it for good. Saludos. DirtyBoy
No question is silly brother....a lot of guys use the hard hat strap for their buckets and it won't affect any deployments or badges. You might find it alittle less comfortable than the foam but whatever works best for you man
trooper1
I use a baseball helmet liner in all of my helmets. I take them out, and install them in with velcro. They work great after some adjustments. fits as snug as a bug in a rug!!!!
Steve Lieberman
I wear a hardhat for work everyday, I tried installing the liner in an ATA bucket and it's very uncomfortable - bucket too small. TacGearStore.com has some foam helmet lining sets that work great.
