  1. I thought I'd open this up, to see what you can come up with. From Scott Will, Merch officer "50-60 words is the space, so it's not a novel, but enough to give a short overview about the characters.... By "fictional perspective", I mean it should be written as if the characters are real. For example, it shouldn't say "Stormtroopers wear vacuformed ABS plastic armor held together with snaps, velcro and elmers glue", but rather "Imperial issue Stormtrooper armor, made from blaster resistant polymer blah blah blah". You get the idea."
  2. I think Zac has been away/busy. Please be patient. I know I've been equally as busy lately, just worked a 12 hour day.
  3. Baltimore is our Garrison's home turf, so we would have a lot of work to do if we got picked. But, I'm hoping they have it at the new National Harbor (also in Maryland). The Gaylord Hotel and Convention Center is the biggest on the East Coast and there's plenty of lodging, dining and an awesome river front view.
  4. I have no problem adding a unique section of deployment for anyone that wants to do an SE trooper, I've just never seen one. Like has been mentioned, I believe making an accurate SE trooper is indeed harder than the original ANH troopers. But if anyone wants to do it and shoot for deployment, I'm all ears.
  5. Holy shrinking molds, Batman. I guess that's what happens when a helmet becomes a copy of a copy of a copy of a copy. How many generations is the ATA... fourth, fifth?
  6. I caught this post in the AM, watched it, seen that guy's video's before. If I wanted to take the time, I could easily counter it with my own view on the subject, but then we'd have a serious political discussion on our hands which is unnecessary and outside the scope of this forum. Feel free to watch the video, but keep the discussion light or we'll lock the thread.
  7. Welcome to the sand box.
  8. I've got a pic of me in armor at a Con where I'm double-fisting two MG-34s.
  9. Odd how I stumbled upon this one, and no, I had nothing to do with it. http://roflshirts.com/blast-doors-to-your-heart Original picture....
  10. WOW! Outstanding all around, and great to hear you made it all the way, that takes some serious endurance. **buckets off**
  11. Outstanding all around. Best of luck on your walk, stay hydrated.
  12. Thanks, but that Amazon listing is almost three times as expensive as what Wal-Mart charged. Looks like I'll have to order direct. I've used this stuff for years on multiple projects and it's without equal. Works on just about anything, easy to use, and dries fast and incredibly solid. I affixed over 66 neodymium magnets with it on a set of clone armor and they've never failed me.
  13. While I never particularly enjoyed shopping at Wal Mart to buy this liquid Gold, it seems they've stopped carrying it. I've checked multiple stores in two States and it's no where to be found. Needing an immediate solution, while doing a Home Depot run, I found that Gorilla Glue now had their own two-part epoxy. Bought two tubes... and it's crap. Right up there with the Loc-Tite junk. If you thought Devcon stunk the place up, Gorilla Glue's version should wake the dead.
  14. Wow! Nice work all around. You should be accepted without issue.
  15. This is probably an issue with the Passport system that links multiple forums. Odds are, you created an account on one of the other forums using that email address?
  16. What's this? The Prototype has been cast, or did someone re-create it?
  17. I got your email this morning, glad to hear it arrived safely this time. That's probably the most impressive collection of prop-weapons I've seen.
