Today, i work on the forearms and Biceps. Before I cut the coverstripes wrong again, I put paul's picture next to it. I still remember that when I made the first armor I cut without thinking and then I was missing material ...

I would like to start a WIP about the build of my new Sandtrooper. Why a new one? Well, the old one is getting on in years and after almost 60 uses the first signs of fatigue are showing. I have chosen the "Roadblock Private" as a model. I have almost finished the backpack: Like my first armor, I wanted one from Troopermaster again. I was very satisfied with the quality. In the meantime Paul has revised his forms and I now have the replacement armor. You can see a few differences. He has based himself even more closely on the original. I will gradually show the differences in the construction. The armor is now trimmed: Now it's time to adjust. I'll start with the forearms. Here is the comparison to the old ones:

For PO - Level 2 - you need a backpack. The normal sandtrooper wears a Backpack. If you will emulate a certain Trooper without Backpack, this is only for Level 3. But for PO - Level 2 - you need a Backpack, like the standard Sandtrooper in the Movie.

Now with tape. There is still dirt missing, but I'll do that when the TD is ready. At the top left, unlike others, I didn't put a plastic plate on it. For me, after clicking through the BlueRay and the 4K screencaps a lot, it is also a tape. Weight of the Pack is 4 kg.

Today the Radio arrived. It is from Angry Ape Props and i think, it is good quality. The size is like the original, the details are very good. The weight is only 400g. The Armor also arrived these days. Thanks Paul from Troopermaster for this great work!

Tinkered with something last week: Set the mortar tube's radar dish to the correct position and shorten the tube to match, built the labpipe, finished the bracket for Giostyle and painted everything that was available today. Now the radio and the plastic plate behind the filter are missing. I'm still playing around on the Greeblie ... When everything is on, the duct tape comes. The new armor is already on the way, Paul (Troopermaster) has already sent it.

Then tinkered with the Giostyle. The pack has an extremely thick beesting.

Today everything dismantled again, because dissatisfied. The frame of the filter was too thick and the bottle too long. So everything again ... now I am satisfied. Everything realigned and tested:

Then everything is positioned first, pictures studied and finally mounted in the right position for me. So I'm satisfied with it for now.

Next was the bottle. The lid are two sanding pads of an angle grinder. The bottle had to be shortened a bit.

Today, i built the Filter. As hausi has already noticed, the ribs are sloping on the one hand and the two on the right are thicker than the six on the left. After that I directed myself. Basic is a black abs box.
