  1. The seat of the left Mictip didn't leave me alone. Once more pictures are printed out, helmet pushed into position and compared. Conclusion: Mictip moved 5 mm down, was too high.
  2. Today I painted the tubestripes and attached the rubbers and mounted the mictips. With the frontal picture, the perspective is not quite right, I had to stretch the picture with my helmet a bit so that it matches the other one. That's why the left mictip is a bit downwards.
  3. Some Paintjob today. A comparison with my helmet and the original ...
  4. Freshly whitened and with matching flakes ...
  5. And now in RAL-7034 with new ear- and Screwposition:
  6. New correction: I noticed that the bottom screw is too high. Old hole filled and the ear repainted.
  7. Small correction, the position of the ears was not entirely correct:
  8. The last job was to temporarily attach the brow. Although it runs almost evenly, it still has a small hang on the right (in the direction of view).
  9. Today's task was - and yes, you can spend a whole Sunday there - to cut your ears to fit. Intentional quirks, gaps, misalignment and "hang". The left ear hangs significantly lower than the right:
  10. I've been working on the eyes for the past few days. I used film and original images as a template. To get the right "look", I took different pictures and brought the faceplate into position to compare it. So I am satisfied with it.

  13. Joe, let´s start your review. So, welcome, to become a Police Officer in the MEPD. The end should be rounded, not cut off at a 45 ° angle. Please correct that. Backpack a. details: check but read comments b. weathering: check RESULT ON BACKPACK Checked & Cleared Comments: The requirements say: right bend of frame. In that case the shape of the frame does exist, only for a different pack, so I have to accept it. In order to look as true to the film as possible, you can swap the frame for a more suitable one. Otherwise good job on the pack! Weapon a. details: check b. weathering: check RESULT ON WEAPON Checked & Cleared Joe, you built a great trooper. The overall picture is right and is absolutely suitable for an elite trooper in action. Please correct the two little things and nothing stands in the way of your upgrading to Level 2. Best Regards, bigwam.
  14. The Old one is TM too, but the older version
  15. After almost 2 hours I am finished with my teeth and so far satisfied. I didn't get the same perspective when taking photos, but I think you know what I'm talking about. It is about the distance and height of the teeth to each other. The picture below is also "wider" than my cell phone took, so the teeth look narrower and higher on the sides. I am also of the opinion that Davin Felth has a fourth tooth gap, which you just don't see in the film images. In the pictures shown below you can see a small hole.
  16. For the helmet I wanted to choose between TM and RS because I had both kits here. My son made the decision for me when he told me - the TM kit is his. Then the decision is made, forced to RS.
