What boots are these?

Question, since i'm only now getting back into Star Wars, after 30 years; which edition of the Star Wars DVDs are unaltered? WE Have the blue ray stuff, but I really would like to show my son the original. I did look through the Force.net a little, but that community seemsto be on a different level than I, and I don't care to even post on that forum. I'll just lurk.

CG has most certainly degraded sci fi and other films. While some may oooh and ah over Avatar,I walked out. I walked out more to lack of plot, but the lack of cool effects other than CG didn't help.

Great! I have a Les Paul myself, though i've barely picked it up in years. my interest in rock and roll is wide and varied. If it isn't Chicago or ELO, then chances are that I like it to an extent. And congrats on your build. I hope to not be far behind, though I don't think I'll get all my sand trooper requirements for a few months.

I hope he can handle a bit of chapass. I got myself into a little trouble on whitearmor by making what I thought was a benign joke. Seems non-elite troops are a bit more thin skinned than the dirty. Craigthesandie is an obvious choice, but I see he has an interest in rock and roll. There are a number of genres in rock and roll. Not sure if he is a classic rock guy or more of a hair band fan. I bet he plays a Strat.

Entirely possible that the Longboard family will be camping and surfing Encinitas that week. I will try and make it happen since this coincides with that event.

Great, I believe i am understanding. Based on waitlists and other info, I probably will go with AP. Haven't actually decided on TK or sandtrooper. I'm just trying to get a good suit of armor currently.

Ordering my first armor this week. Born in 70 so perfect age for the original movie and i've always been a fan. Most all of my original Star Wars memorabilia was stolen. Father of 3 little ones. I'm a doc. My wife is almost as excited about the armor as i. We live in the Southwest. I like the outdoors, including fishing, camping and mountain biking, and our fam loves all things Star Wars.

Sounds good. More specifically, did you build a sand trooper outfit with AP and you used what for your ab button strip and knee plate?

What of the AP (Authenticprops) armor for a sandtrooper? Are there any negatives?
